📋 Description

• Operate video review and audio systems during live football matches, managing between 4 and 20 camera feeds from the Paris Replay Center under the direction of the VAR Operations Lead.
• Conduct pre-match system checks using standardized procedures and checklists to ensure all technical equipment is fully functional before each game.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in real-time during live broadcasts to maintain uninterrupted video replay operations.
• Provide detailed post-match feedback on system performance, reporting any faulty, damaged, or missing hardware to the hardware manager for timely replacement or repair.
• Participate in weekly technical calls for team coordination, feedback sessions, and operational preparation across domestic and international competitions.
• Support the setup, maintenance, and organization of the Paris Replay Center and associated warehouse, ensuring all equipment is stored and maintained to operational standards.
• Engage in regular training sessions at the Replay Center, stadiums, and CNF facilities alongside colleagues and match officials to maintain technical proficiency and procedural alignment.
• Perform remote support duties from home, managing personal work schedule to ensure efficiency and readiness for match-day operations.
• Contribute to research and development initiatives for new replay technologies and systems during non-match days, supporting innovation in VAR operations.
• Undertake ad hoc projects as required by evolving business needs, adapting quickly to new technical demands and operational priorities.
• Travel domestically and internationally to major football events, including French domestic league matches, UEFA, and FIFA tournaments, to provide on-site technical guarantee support at stadiums.
• Maintain a high level of technical accuracy and procedural discipline in a high-pressure, live broadcast environment with strict deadlines and zero tolerance for operational failure.
• Collaborate professionally with internal teams, referees, and external stakeholders, communicating clearly and confidently in both French and English.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of replay operations by identifying inefficiencies and proposing pragmatic, workable technical solutions.
• Demonstrate strong time management and self-discipline when working remotely, ensuring consistent performance and availability for scheduled match days and training.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAR protocols and evolving football technology standards through ongoing training and participation in technical briefings.
• Support the overall integrity of video assistant referee operations by ensuring all technical systems meet FIFA and UEFA compliance requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong technical grounding, demonstrated by a relevant degree or equivalent work experience
• Good knowledge of the VAR project and its operational procedures
• Ability to work under high pressure in a live broadcast environment with strict procedural adherence
• Fluent in both French and English
