- ⢠As a Revenue Events Manager at Kong Inc., you will serve as a strategic operator within the Office of the CRO, taking full ownership of the global revenue events calendar to drive sales momentum, align field initiatives, and support talent retention through high-impact, unforgettable experiences that directly contribute to revenue growth and organizational culture.
- ⢠You will partner with the Director of Global Revenue Programs to develop and execute a year-round Sales Kickoff (SKO) campaign, design the elite Presidentâs Club incentive trip âSilverback Circleâ, and create multiple internal sales events throughout the year aimed at boosting field productivity, morale, and alignment with CRO strategic priorities.
- ⢠You will lead end-to-end execution of complex, cross-functional events including the Annual Sales Kickoff (SKO), âSilverback Circleâ, global revenue events, and recognition programs such as Deal Team Awards and Quarterly Employee Awards, managing all phases from concept and budgeting to vendor coordination, on-site execution, and post-event analysis.
- ⢠You will own budgetary control and financial accountability for large-scale events, collaborating with Procurement to manage vendor contracts, track expenses, and ensure fiscal discipline while maintaining high-quality outcomes under pressure.
- ⢠You will establish scalable project management frameworks by creating templates, documentation, and playbooks using PM tools, driving process optimization to reduce friction and improve efficiency across the revenue events function.
- ⢠You will develop and maintain communication plans, provide executive-level reporting to leadership and stakeholders, and define success metrics for each event through data-driven post-mortems that inform future program improvements and strategic adjustments.
- ⢠You will work within Kongâs mission-driven culture as part of a company powering the agentic era through its unified API and AI platform, Kong Konnect, which secures, manages, accelerates, governs, and monetizes intelligence flow across APIs and AI models for Fortune 500 companies and startups worldwide.

đŻ Requirements
- ⢠8+ years of experience in corporate event management, preferably within a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment or supporting a Revenue/Sales organization.
- ⢠Proven track record managing large-scale, innovative global events (500+ attendees) from concept to completion, demonstrating strong ownership and execution under pressure.
- ⢠Demonstrated financial acumen with experience managing large-scale budgets and navigating procurement and contracting processes.
- ⢠Bachelorâs degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration or a related field required.
- ⢠Executive presence: comfort communicating and collaborating with senior leaders verbally and in writing.
- ⢠Willingness to travel globally approximately 30-50% of the time to manage on-site execution of key events.
