Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the full revenue engine including pipeline generation, sales execution, client onboarding, delivery quality, and client retention for a professional services business transitioning to a recurring revenue model.
- • Lead a distributed global team across multiple time zones, managing performance through defined KPIs and weekly accountability rhythms.
- • Drive monthly recurring revenue (MRR) growth by coordinating with in-house and outsourced sales resources, and personally closing new business as needed.
- • Define and enforce an MRR-first commercial model including service packaging, pricing structures, scope controls, and engagement minimums.
- • Run weekly sales and operations cadences, maintain live scorecards, and conduct monthly reviews with the Owner to track progress and adjust strategy.
- • Improve client retention to 95%+ by strengthening onboarding processes, establishing communication standards, and implementing escalation protocols.
- • Plan and manage team capacity to ensure delivery quality is maintained during periods of growth, avoiding burnout and service degradation.
- • Maintain 13-week rolling cash flow visibility and proactively surface financial risks before they escalate into operational problems.
- • Build scalable operational infrastructure including SOPs, templates, and checklists to ensure consistent performance and repeatable processes.
- • Report and improve on core weekly and monthly metrics: MRR health, sales close rate, delivery timeliness, rework rate, and labor efficiency.
- • Have direct experience selling and managing monthly recurring services such as bookkeeping, accounting/CAS, fractional CFO, or IT managed services.
- • Operate as a builder who has grown a services business from early stage to $1–$5M in revenue, understanding the transition from project-based to scalable recurring revenue.
- • Lead with data, not anecdote—use scorecards and metrics to drive decisions, hold teams accountable, and measure success.
- • Work remotely with fluency in collaboration platforms including Slack, Zoom, ClickUp, and Google Workspace.
- • Have prior remote work experience with US or UK-based companies, as this role requires alignment with Central Time core hours (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM CT).
- • Ensure all applications include a completed application form and a recorded video; failure to submit a video disqualifies the candidate.
