- • As Revenue Ops Manager (sales focused) at PostHog, you will own the end-to-end sales-led revenue operations function, building systems from scratch to drive predictable growth in a usage-based, product-led model where sales-led revenue represents nearly half the business.
- • Day to day, you will design and maintain sales compensation plans, own quota setting and modeling, run monthly sales growth reviews with proactive weekly updates, build alerting systems for pipeline risks, enforce forecast discipline, run win/loss analysis, and establish a trusted sales revenue source of truth by validating metrics against actual revenue outcomes.
- • PostHog is a product-led, default-alive company with over 450,000 organizations using its platform, backed by $180m in funding, operating with radical transparency, autonomy, and a bias for shipping fast — prioritizing heads-down building time over meetings and embracing weirdness as a competitive advantage.
- • In this role, you will build the foundational systems and definitions for sales-led revenue ops with direct executive exposure, earn trust through data-driven influence, and shape how PostHog scales its sales motion without adding bureaucracy — turning ambiguity into clarity and insight into action.
🎯 Requirements
- • Background in RevOps, sales ops, finance, or a strategy/analytics role with real revenue exposure.
- • Comfortable in data, SQL or equivalent — able to get to the answer independently.
- • Experience designing or running sales compensation plans and understanding how incentives influence behavior at the margin.
- • Experience in usage-based or PLG revenue models where the line between self-serve and sales-led is blurry.
- • Proactive operator who builds monitoring and updates to surface problems early, rather than waiting to be asked.
- • Comfortable with ambiguity and a blank slate — able to build systems and definitions from scratch without creating bureaucracy.
- • Ability to influence without authority — earning trust from sales, finance, and product through credible numbers.
