Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end data journey from our Data Warehouse to external CRM systems, ensuring every metric is accurate, timely, and business-ready. You will be the single point of truth that connects marketing, sales, customer success, finance, and people experience to the data they need to make confident decisions.
- • Design, build, and maintain SQL queries and DBT models that calculate key business metrics (ARR, churn, LTV, pipeline velocity, campaign attribution, etc.) and push them into Salesforce, HubSpot, and other CRM/GTM tools. Your code becomes the backbone of revenue forecasting and operational dashboards.
- • Guarantee data quality by continuously comparing source-of-truth warehouse figures with CRM outputs, identifying discrepancies, and driving root-cause fixes. You will set up automated anomaly detection and reconciliation reports that alert stakeholders before bad data reaches executives.
- • Translate complex business questions into crisp technical requirements. You will run daily Slack threads and bi-weekly workshops with stakeholders to clarify KPI definitions, challenge assumptions, and prevent duplicate work—turning vague requests into precise, reusable data products.
- • Architect clean, scalable data structures inside CRM platforms: custom objects, fields, and workflows that eliminate duplication, simplify cross-platform flows, and reduce manual imports. Your blueprints become the standard referenced by analysts and engineers across Docplanner.
- • Optimize our GitHub repository and Airflow DAGs: enforce naming conventions, remove deprecated models, refactor slow queries, and document lineage so that any teammate can onboard in minutes. You will champion a culture of peer reviews and automated testing.
- • Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Product Analyst squads to align on taxonomy, grain, and refresh cadence. Together you will create a single dictionary that marketing, finance, and customer success all trust—cutting ad-hoc requests by 30 %.
- • Research and pilot new integrations between the data warehouse and emerging GTM tools (e.g., customer data platforms, marketing automation). You will run proof-of-concepts, document trade-offs, and present recommendations that reduce manual work for client-facing teams.
- • Provide tier-2 support for CRM data issues: triage tickets, reproduce bugs in staging, and ship fixes within SLA. You will also create runbooks and train first-line support so that repetitive questions are resolved without engineering hours.
- • Influence the long-term data strategy by feeding real-world pain points into our roadmap. Your insights on schema drift, API limits, and governance gaps will shape the next generation of Docplanner’s revenue infrastructure.
- • Measure your own impact: publish monthly OKR dashboards that show data accuracy, stakeholder NPS, and query performance improvements. When metrics improve, you celebrate with the team; when they slip, you lead the post-mortem and next steps.
