📋 Description
- • The RevOps BI Architect at LeanLayer Inc. plays a critical role in transforming complex revenue data into clear, actionable insights that drive executive decision-making and revenue team performance. - • This position owns the analytics and visualization layer of data environments, bridging technical data engineering with business impact by designing intuitive, performant, and governed reporting products that translate warehouse data into strategic revenue intelligence.
- • Day to day, the RevOps BI Architect will design and maintain semantic layers and reporting models in BI tools like Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, Mode, or Domo, ensuring standardized metric definitions are consistently applied across dashboards.
- • They will build executive and operational dashboards focused on pipeline, funnel, marketing performance, and revenue analytics, creating reusable templates that can be deployed across multiple client environments while maintaining clarity, usability, and decision-focused design.
- • The role includes optimizing BI queries, explores, and derived tables to improve dashboard performance, identifying and resolving inefficiencies, and collaborating with Analytics Engineers to enhance underlying data models for faster, more cost-effective reporting.
- • They will establish and enforce reporting governance by standardizing KPI definitions, dashboard naming conventions, and asset cataloging, while identifying and consolidating duplicate or redundant reports to ensure consistency and reduce noise.
- • A key focus is on data UX and analytics product design—translating complex revenue insights into intuitive visualizations that answer meaningful business questions for both executive and operational audiences, prioritizing clarity over complexity.
- • The RevOps BI Architect will work closely with RevOps Consultants to ensure data is accurately translated into high-quality reporting products, maintaining documentation for metrics, explores, and dashboards to support knowledge sharing and onboarding.
- • They will manage BI platform permissions, access controls, and governance policies to ensure secure and appropriate data access across stakeholder groups.
- • The role requires continuous improvement of existing dashboards to ensure accuracy, relevance, and performance, adapting to evolving client needs and revenue operations best practices.
- • Through this role, the individual will deepen their expertise in RevOps-specific metrics such as ARR, MRR, ACV, TCV, attribution modeling, and funnel analytics, while mastering semantic layer design and data storytelling techniques.
- • They will gain hands-on experience scaling BI solutions across multiple client environments in a fast-growing consulting firm, positioning them as a leader in RevOps analytics and data product design.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Visualization roles
- • Strong experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, Mode, or Domo
- • Strong SQL skills and experience using data from Salesforce or HubSpot
- • Experience building dashboards for sales, marketing, or revenue teams
- • Experience designing semantic layers or metric frameworks
- • Ability to translate complex data into clear visualizations
- • Strong attention to data consistency and reporting governance
- • Experience with warehouse platforms such as BigQuery or Snowflake
