📋 Description

• Risk, Compliance & Operations Analyst role focused on refining Kraken's operating model by enhancing processes and leveraging AI to improve efficiency and scalability across risk, compliance, and operations functions.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting compliance and operations initiatives such as asset listing and market surveillance, implementing the Risk Management Framework, managing outsourcing service provider lifecycles, executing EU MiCAR and other regulatory projects, preparing Board and Committee materials, and leading strategic cross-functional projects like license applications.
• Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million users, building compliant infrastructure under evolving regulations like MiCAR to advance an open global financial system.
• The role offers significant growth exposure to critical functions across Product, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Finance, enabling the candidate to develop strategic influence, lead complex initiatives, and gain deep expertise in regulated crypto operations and compliance frameworks.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3 years in consulting, financial services, strategy, or operations — ideally in financial services, fintech, or crypto
• Proven experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with a commercial or regulatory focus
• Commercially astute — connects regulatory compliance with business growth and customer trust
• Operates with a consulting mindset: structured, analytical, and action-oriented
• Thrives in ambiguity and moves quickly from concept to execution
• Collaborative, low-ego, and able to influence senior stakeholders
