- • Conducts comprehensive workplace and site risk evaluations and provides consultative risk improvement services for complex, large-scale, or special accounts.
- • Delivers risk assessment data to support underwriting decisions for prospective, new, and renewal accounts, including submission of tailored Risk Control recommendations to mitigate identified exposures.
- • Evaluates clients’ existing risk control programs and designs customized strategies with actionable implementation plans to enhance safety and reduce losses.
- • Advises on the development and implementation of risk control policies, marketing initiatives, and business strategies aligned with branch and enterprise profit and growth objectives.
- • Builds and maintains strong business relationships with internal teams and external partners including brokers, agencies, and clients.
- • Develops and delivers educational training sessions, presentations, and technical workshops to internal and external stakeholders.
- • Serves as a technical expert in one or more specialized risk control areas, providing authoritative guidance to both internal and external customers.
- • Identifies opportunities to create new risk control products or services to meet evolving market needs.
- • Conducts agency and broker visits to strengthen relationships, address account-specific concerns, and promote CNA’s risk control offerings in support of regional business goals.
- • Manages multiple concurrent assignments with high accuracy, prioritizing tasks based on business impact and deadlines.
- • Addresses ambiguous or complex business challenges with creative, solution-oriented approaches grounded in risk control principles.
- • Takes a proactive, long-term perspective to align risk control activities with broader organizational goals and strategic outcomes.
- • Utilizes Microsoft Office Suite and other business software to document findings, prepare reports, and manage client communications.
- • Travels extensively to client sites, broker offices, and internal locations to perform on-site assessments and support business development activities.
- • May be assigned special projects requiring independent initiative, cross-functional collaboration, and delivery of measurable outcomes.
- • Operates within broad authority limits under general management direction, applying advanced technical expertise to high-complexity assignments with regional, industry-specific, or enterprise-wide scope.
