📋 Description

• • Lead the full accounting cycle for Alimentiv Inc., ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across all global entities.
• • Oversee preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• • Serve as primary owner of the company’s ERP system, managing configuration, enhancements, and user access to ensure system integrity and efficiency.
• • Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, including vendor payments, invoice processing, and customer billing workflows.
• • Direct procurement processes and controls to ensure compliance, cost efficiency, and alignment with internal policies.
• • Lead all aspects of tax compliance, including preparation and filing of federal, state, and international tax returns.
• • Coordinate and manage external audit processes, serving as the primary point of contact for auditors and ensuring timely delivery of documentation and responses.
• • Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance across multi-entity operations.
• • Monitor and improve accounting processes to enhance accuracy, reduce manual effort, and support scalability as the organization grows globally.
• • Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer to provide accurate financial data for strategic decision-making, while maintaining clear separation from financial planning and analysis responsibilities.
• • Ensure adherence to GAAP and other relevant accounting frameworks in all financial reporting activities.
• • Train and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement within the finance team.
• • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving accounting regulations, tax laws, and industry best practices impacting global CRO operations.
• • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity in procurement, payroll, and project cost tracking for clinical trial operations.
• • Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures aligned with Alimentiv’s profit-with-purpose mission.
• • Ensure timely close of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting periods with zero material errors or delays.
• • Manage relationships with external accounting and tax advisors, ensuring alignment with company objectives and compliance standards.
• • Maintain documentation of all accounting policies, controls, and procedures for audit readiness and internal governance.
• • Act as the key liaison between internal finance teams and external stakeholders including regulators, auditors, and financial institutions.
