- • Robotics Integration Specialist at Sunrise Communications AG in Ljubljana, responsible for owning the physical build and operational readiness of robotic cells in the R&D environment, ensuring quality from lab to customer delivery.
- • Day-to-day tasks include building, wiring, and integrating robotic cells; coordinating lab availability; testing and validating peripherals and subsystems; supporting remote engineers with hands-on diagnostics; preparing cells for customer delivery; supporting QA; maintaining tooling and safety infrastructure; and documenting all R&D cell configurations and status.
- • The team at Sunrise Robotics is dedicated to augmenting humanity through intelligent robotics, focusing on integrating flexible robotic solutions into manufacturing for SMEs to make automation economically viable and accessible.
- • In this role, you will gain end-to-end exposure across hardware build, system integration, and customer delivery, work directly with founders and leadership, and see your contributions run in live production environments at real customers, enabling career acceleration and tangible impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven hands-on experience in robotics, automation, hardware development, or a closely related field
- • Mechanical and electrical capability - comfortable with wiring, integration, and diagnosing hardware issues at the bench
- • Working knowledge of Python, Linux, and ROS
- • High degree of organisation and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to keeping systems functional and work unblocked
- • Ability to manage multiple work streams independently without losing track of what's live, what's in progress, and what's at risk
- • Clear, effective communication with both local and remote teams
