đź“‹ Description

  • • Join Sunrise Robotics, a pioneering company at the forefront of intelligent automation, and contribute to our mission of augmenting humanity through advanced robotics. We are dedicated to revolutionizing the manufacturing sector by developing intelligent, flexible robots designed to enhance human capabilities and optimize existing machinery. Our goal is to usher in a new era of production characterized by higher quality, reduced waste, and lower costs.
  • • As a Robotics Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in building the core software that powers our sophisticated flexible industrial automation systems, enabling them to execute real-world production processes. This pivotal role focuses on transforming cutting-edge robotics capabilities – including multi-robot coordination, advanced perception, intricate manipulation, and precise motion planning – into robust, production-ready software solutions deployable across diverse customer environments.
  • • You will be responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of software across the entire robotics stack. This includes everything from high-level application logic to the intricate details of motion planning and control systems. Close collaboration with our simulation and AI teams will be essential to ensure seamless integration of new functionalities into our platform and a smooth transition from development to production.
  • • Your contributions will directly impact the expansion of our system's capabilities, significantly improving the reliability, autonomy, and overall performance of robots operating in demanding industrial settings. You will be at the heart of developing software that makes robots smarter, more adaptable, and more efficient.
  • • Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth research and development in critical robotics domains such as motion planning, manipulation, perception, and multi-robot coordination. This involves exploring novel algorithms and techniques to push the boundaries of what our robots can achieve.
  • • You will design and build highly reusable, production-quality robot behaviors. These behaviors will be the building blocks that allow our robots to be dynamically reconfigured to autonomously execute a wide variety of different industrial processes, offering unparalleled flexibility to our clients.
  • • Develop sophisticated robotics software that spans the entire stack, from the user-facing application logic down to the low-level motion planning and control algorithms. This requires a holistic understanding of the system.
  • • Integrate complex perception, planning, and control components into a cohesive, reliable, and end-to-end robotics system. Ensuring these components work harmoniously is crucial for system stability.
  • • Enhance the robustness and resilience of the robotics stack to support continuous operation and minimize downtime in critical production environments. This involves rigorous testing and fault tolerance development.
  • • Develop and refine solutions that operate consistently and reliably in both simulated environments and on physical robots. A key focus will be on reducing the simulation-to-reality gap, ensuring that what works in simulation translates effectively to the real world.
  • • Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, AI specialists, and simulation experts to translate groundbreaking technical advances into practical, deployable capabilities for our customers.
  • • Contribute to the scaling of our robotics deployments, ensuring successful implementation and operation across multiple customer sites and diverse industries. This involves understanding and adapting to various industrial contexts.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging, real-world automation problems, contributing directly to the core technology that powers our innovative automation platform. You will gain high exposure to experienced robotics, AI, and systems engineers, shaping capabilities that are deployed in tangible industrial environments.
  • • Accelerate your career by deepening your expertise across the full robotics stack, from application software to motion planning and system integration. You will be at the forefront of developing solutions for complex automation challenges.
  • • Make a real impact by building systems that run in production at customer sites, directly improving the reliability, performance, and scalability of our robotic deployments and enabling businesses to achieve new levels of efficiency and productivity.
