• As a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer, you will define and improve useful APIs for customers, design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable features for web-based applications, maintain and enhance existing features to adapt to an evolving market, evangelize coding, testing, and performance best practices across the team, collaborate with product, design, and customer success teams on customer-loved features, and work with technologies including Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Webpack, AWS, Heroku, Ansible, Digital Ocean, GitHub, Slack, Google Drive, JIRA, and Claude Code.

🎯 Requirements

• Significant relevant production experience with large-scale Ruby on Rails applications
• Strong understanding of systems architecture, database design, and the Ruby language
• Great written and verbal communication skills, with proactive communication habits suited for remote work
• Preference for taking projects from inception to completion with an outcome-oriented mindset
• Pride in craftsmanship, with a commitment to clean, scalable code that keeps large teams productive
• Interest in or experience with AI/ML technologies, particularly in content generation or data structuring
