- • As a Sales Account Executive, you will be at the forefront of our growth, responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. This role is fundamentally about hunting – proactively seeking out and engaging potential clients through strategic cold calling and persistent outreach. You will be empowered to build and manage your own territory, developing a deep understanding of the market and establishing ButterflyMX as the go-to solution for smart access.
- • Your primary focus will be on generating a robust pipeline of qualified leads. This involves a significant amount of direct, outbound prospecting, with approximately 50% of your time dedicated to identifying potential clients and the other 50% to actively cold calling them. We expect our Sales Account Executives to make 40+ cold calls daily, targeting key decision-makers such as Regional Property Managers, Commercial Real Estate Developers, and High-density real estate IT Installers. Your success will be measured by your ability to consistently fill and grow your pipeline, ensuring a steady stream of opportunities for closing.
- • The sales cycle at ButterflyMX typically ranges from 1 to 3 months, requiring a focused and efficient approach to lead nurturing and deal progression. You will be responsible for guiding prospects through the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing the deal. This includes conducting compelling product demonstrations via Zoom, clearly articulating the value proposition of ButterflyMX, and addressing the unique needs and challenges of each potential client. Building strong, trust-based relationships is paramount; you will aim to be viewed as a trusted advisor, not just a vendor.

You will work closely with sales management, providing regular updates on your progress and consistently delivering accurate pipeline forecasts. 🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of in-office product sales experience (Software, SaaS, B2B, Cloud-based services, etc.)
- • Results-driven with a singular focus on sales outcomes (not activities)
- • Proven experience in cold-calling and pipeline generation
