- • Own and grow a defined territory across the Charleston, SC region, developing deep relationships with physicians, surgeons, case managers, and their office teams to position BenchmarkPT as the first-choice outpatient physical therapy provider.
- • Build and execute a strategic sales plan that identifies high-value referral sources, sets aggressive but achievable growth targets, and maps clear action steps to increase patient volume and market share quarter-over-quarter.
- • Conduct 8–10 high-impact in-person visits per day, tailoring each conversation to the clinician’s specialty, patient demographics, and pain points while articulating BenchmarkPT’s clinical outcomes, evidence-based programs, and seamless referral process.
- • Track every interaction in Salesforce, maintaining meticulous notes on referral patterns, competitive intelligence, and follow-up commitments so that marketing, operations, and clinical teams have real-time visibility into pipeline health.
- • Partner with regional clinic directors to launch co-branded lunch-and-learns, physician shadowing days, and community workshops that showcase our therapists’ expertise and strengthen trust within the medical community.
- • Analyze weekly referral data and patient conversion metrics to spot trends, celebrate wins, and rapidly course-correct underperforming accounts—turning insights into action plans within 48 hours.
- • Collaborate with the centralized marketing team to design targeted email campaigns, printed leave-behinds, and social proof content (patient success stories, outcome scorecards) that resonate with each specialty segment.
- • Serve as the voice of the customer internally, funneling physician feedback on wait times, scheduling ease, and clinical protocols to operations so we continuously refine the patient and referrer experience.
- • Champion BenchmarkPT’s mission of delivering life-changing care by staying current on orthopedic, neurological, and sports-medicine research, translating complex clinical evidence into concise value propositions for busy physicians.
- • Mentor new sales hires by sharing best-practice call scripts, objection-handling techniques, and territory-mapping tools—accelerating ramp-up and fostering a culture of peer-to-peer learning.
- • Achieve and exceed quarterly revenue and referral goals, earning accelerators and recognition within a high-growth organization that celebrates performance and promotes from within.
- • Embrace a remote-first work style while maintaining disciplined time-blocking, route optimization, and expense management to maximize face-time with top-decile referral sources.
- • Represent BenchmarkPT at state and local medical conferences, trade shows, and community events, expanding brand visibility and capturing qualified leads that convert into long-term partnerships.
- • Uphold the highest ethical standards in all interactions, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, Anti-Kickback, and Stark regulations while embodying Upstream Rehabilitation’s core values of integrity, compassion, and innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of B2B or medical sales experience with a documented track record of exceeding quota
- • Bachelor’s degree in business, kinesiology, healthcare administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- • Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM; ability to analyze data and translate insights into territory strategy
- • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel daily throughout the Charleston, SC region
- • Excellent communication skills—comfortable presenting clinical data to physicians and building rapport with office staff
- • Nice-to-have: existing relationships with orthopedic surgeons, primary-care practices, or workers’ compensation coordinators in the Southeast
