Your primary focus will be on identifying, engaging, and securing new clients, ensuring Wellness IQ remains the premier partner for organizations seeking to enhance their employee wellness programs. This position demands a proactive and driven individual who is comfortable with a high volume of outreach, adept at cultivating strategic partnerships, and skilled in presenting compelling solutions.
- • Key responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of sales and client management activities. You will be instrumental in broker distribution and development, actively seeking out and nurturing relationships with insurance brokers to expand our reach and introduce our innovative wellness solutions to a wider audience. A critical aspect of this role involves interpreting and qualifying Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring we accurately understand client needs and can tailor our offerings to meet their specific requirements. Your ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of Wellness IQ's comprehensive suite of services will be paramount.
- • This role requires a proactive approach to lead generation, utilizing both direct-to-employer sales channels and strategic broker partnerships. You will be expected to make a significant number of calls daily, engaging with potential clients and brokers to introduce Wellness IQ's offerings. Developing and presenting our wellness solutions, often in a virtual format utilizing PowerPoint, will be a core function. This includes articulating the benefits of our programs and demonstrating how they can lead to tangible improvements in employee health and productivity.
- • Furthermore, you will contribute to the overall management, implementation, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of workplace wellness programs and resources. This involves a consultative approach, where you act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through the process of selecting and implementing the most effective wellness strategies. Becoming an expert in all ancillary wellness services offered by Wellness IQ is essential, enabling you to provide strategic direction and customized recommendations to both prospects and existing clients.
- • You will be responsible for building and sustaining positive, collaborative relationships not only with clients but also with the entire Wellness IQ staff, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency. The ability to present and sell to consultants or employer groups ranging from 50 to 1500 employees is a key requirement. This involves understanding the unique needs of different organizational sizes and structures, and tailoring your sales approach accordingly.
- • Interaction with staff, management, and vendors will be frequent, all aimed at ensuring the operational efficiency and effectiveness of our client services. While this is a remote position, there is a requirement for up to 50% travel, which may include engaging in face-to-face meetings, presentations, and client site visits to foster deeper relationships and ensure program success. We are looking to hire individuals in or around the Boise, ID area, but the role is primarily remote.

🎯 Requirements
- • 1+ years of Sales and Wellness or related experience, or any combination of education, experience and training that provides the necessary knowledge and abilities to perform the job.
- • College Degree preferred.
- • Insurance brokerage experience specifically in employee benefits is preferred.
- • Data knowledge and experience preferred (Microsoft Access, FTP uploads, and eligibility files).
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred.
- • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with strong typing abilities and the capacity to respond professionally and accurately to client requests.
