- • Represent and support all Allegion brands within assigned territory in North Carolina, focusing on single-family builders and residential markets.
- • Develop and execute distribution strategies to maximize availability of residential products through both direct dealer and wholesaler channels.
- • Create customized business plans for key customers, including dealer and builder targets, promotional activities, shelf management programs, product training, investment strategies, and revenue goals.
- • Manage and influence outside and inside sales personnel of distributors to effectively sell and quote Allegion products to end users.
- • Utilize existing marketing programs and cross-selling strategies in collaboration with Allegion sales offices to drive market-share growth.
- • Ensure all selling strategies align with regional and territory revenue and profit objectives outlined in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- • Attend and represent Allegion at national, regional, and local dealer and industry association trade shows and events.
- • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key influencers including owners, builders, general contractors, managers, and architects.
- • Conduct job site surveys to gather specification details and competitive intelligence.
- • Manage CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) for customer contact tracking, major project follow-up, and compliance with all CRM requirements.
- • Submit timely and accurate reports to upper management, including credit submissions, financial and strategic project analyses, and email communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- • Maintain and manage all builder program agreements and ensure adherence to Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- • Provide accurate forecasting data to the Inventory Management Team to support supply chain planning.
- • Network actively within the industry to promote brand loyalty and expand market presence.
- • Maintain personal professional networks and participate in relevant industry organizations to enhance visibility and credibility.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of sales experience preferred
- • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- • Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn industry-specific software
- • Strong verbal and written communication skills at all organizational levels
- • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- • Demonstrated experience influencing others with a bias for action
- • Single-family builder channel industry experience preferred
- • Strong presentation skills required
- • Ability to travel up to 50%
- • Ideal candidate resides in Greater Raleigh-Durham or Greensboro, NC
