- • As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), also known as an Associate Veterinary Imaging Consultant, you will be a pivotal player in driving lead generation for IDEXX's advanced Diagnostic Imaging and Telemedicine solutions. Your primary focus will be on identifying and pre-qualifying Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) for our Veterinary Imaging Consultant (VIC) and Diagnostic Imaging Specialist teams within a designated geographic territory.
- • You will be instrumental in nurturing customer relationships throughout their journey, particularly focusing on preparing diagnostic imaging customers with end-of-life systems for crucial system upgrades. This will be achieved through close collaboration with the Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, ensuring a seamless transition and a positive customer experience.
- • The core success metric for this role is directly tied to the number of product demonstrations booked and successfully converted by the Veterinary Imaging Consultant and Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, highlighting the direct impact of your lead generation efforts on the sales pipeline.
- • Your day-to-day activities will revolve around maintaining a consistently robust pipeline of sales opportunities. This will be accomplished through a high-volume outbound calling and email engagement strategy, requiring exceptional communication and persistence.
- • You will take the lead in product sales pursuits for IDEXX WebPACS, CardioPet, and Telemedicine solutions within your assigned territory. This involves not only identifying new opportunities but also actively engaging in customer nurturing to build interest and drive them towards a demonstration.
- • A key responsibility is the proactive booking of product demonstrations for the Veterinary Imaging Consultant and Diagnostic Imaging Specialist. This requires a collaborative approach, understanding the needs of both the sales team and the potential customers to schedule effective and impactful demonstrations.
- • You will be tasked with developing, implementing, and maintaining a dynamic lead generation network. This involves building strong relationships and leveraging the existing IDEXX field sales ecosystem within your territory to uncover new prospects and opportunities.
- • Consistent achievement of quarterly and annual sales quotas is a fundamental expectation of this role, demonstrating your ability to drive revenue and contribute to the company's growth targets.
- • You will be accountable for fostering strong collaboration with the Companion Animal Group (CAG) Commercial team. This partnership is essential to ensure that customers receive comprehensive support and maintain overall satisfaction with IDEXX's offerings.
- • A crucial aspect of your role will be gathering valuable feedback from customers. This information is vital for contributing to product development initiatives, refining sales strategies, and informing marketing activities, ensuring IDEXX remains at the forefront of innovation.
- • You will serve as a positive ambassador for the IDEXX brand, consistently promoting its values and offerings with professionalism and enthusiasm in all customer interactions.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely within the United States, providing flexibility while maintaining a high level of engagement and productivity.
- • You will be empowered to execute core sales development activities with a degree of autonomy, while also knowing that guidance and support are available from your manager for more complex situations.
- • You will gain entry-level knowledge across our cutting-edge Diagnostic Imaging and Telemedicine product suites, building a foundational understanding of our technological offerings.
- • While you will independently handle lower complexity deals and prospecting efforts, you will work closely with your manager on more intricate opportunities, fostering a learning and growth environment.
- • This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a proactive, results-oriented environment and are passionate about contributing to the health and well-being of animals through innovative technology.
