📋 Description
- • As a Sales Director for Managed Services at livingHR, you will drive revenue growth by selling fractional HR leadership, People Operations support, compliance, onboarding, offboarding, and program execution services to small and mid-sized organizations under 500 employees. This role is critical to expanding livingHR’s footprint in the HR outsourcing market by building strategic retainer-based engagements that deliver long-term value to clients seeking scalable, human-centric HR solutions.
- • You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to scoping, proposal development, and closing—while managing a robust pipeline of target accounts. Daily activities include conducting consultative discovery calls to diagnose HR gaps, partnering with Delivery Leaders to structure tailored service packages (typically 20–160 hours/month), collaborating with Marketing on lead-generation campaigns, and representing livingHR as a thought leader at industry events. You will also manage high-value client relationships post-sale to ensure satisfaction, identify expansion opportunities, and drive retention through upsells and cross-sells in areas like DEIB, change management, and talent acquisition.

- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in HR lifecycle management for growing organizations, refine consultative selling techniques for complex, retention-based services, and strengthen your ability to partner cross-functionally with Delivery, Marketing, and Finance teams. You’ll gain experience in structuring scalable service models, influencing executive buyers, and using data-driven insights to forecast and optimize sales performance—positioning you as a strategic leader in the evolving HR outsourcing landscape.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications
- • 8–10 years of direct sales experience in HR consulting, managed services, HR outsourcing, People Operations, or similar solution-based environments
- • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in retainer-based or strategic service sales
- • Strong understanding of HR lifecycle and People Operations functions for companies under 500 employees
- • Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot preferred), sales dashboards, and pipeline/forecast tracking
- • Excellent communication, discovery, storytelling, and negotiation skills with ability to build trust with executive buyers and HR leaders
