  • • Ethena is seeking a highly motivated and technically adept Sales Engineer to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between our innovative compliance training solutions and prospective clients. You will leverage your deep understanding of technology, sales processes, and customer needs to demonstrate the value and capabilities of Ethena's platform, ultimately driving revenue growth and ensuring customer success.
  • • As a Sales Engineer at Ethena, you will be the technical expert during the sales cycle, working closely with Account Executives to understand client requirements and articulate how Ethena's AI-powered, customizable compliance training can solve their unique challenges. This involves conducting compelling product demonstrations, developing tailored proof-of-concepts, and addressing complex technical questions from potential customers, often in the HR, Legal, and Compliance departments.
  • • Your responsibilities will extend to understanding the intricacies of our clients' existing compliance programs, identifying pain points, and showcasing how Ethena's integrated platform—which includes features like adaptive learning paths, policy transformation into interactive training, Hotline & Case Management, Policy Bot, and Phishing Simulator—can streamline operations, enhance employee engagement, and ensure regulatory adherence.
  • • You will play a crucial role in the pre-sales process, performing technical discovery calls to gather detailed information about a prospect's environment, current tools, and specific compliance needs. This deep dive allows you to position Ethena's solutions effectively and build trust with technical stakeholders within prospective organizations.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve crafting and delivering persuasive product demonstrations. These demonstrations will be customized to resonate with the specific industry, role, and risk profile of each prospect, highlighting Ethena's ability to adapt training content to reflect company branding, policies, and unique risks, thereby reducing learner seat time by up to 60%.
  • • You will also be responsible for responding to technical sections of RFPs (Requests for Proposal) and RFIs (Requests for Information), ensuring that Ethena's technical capabilities and security posture are clearly and accurately communicated.
  • • Collaborating with the Sales and Product teams is essential. You will provide valuable feedback from the field to the Product team, influencing the future development of Ethena's platform based on market demands and customer insights. You will also work hand-in-hand with Account Executives to strategize on key accounts and develop winning sales approaches.
  • • Ethena's platform is designed for modern, global organizations, supporting over 1 million learners across 2,000 organizations with a 93% learner approval rating and 96% customer renewal rate. Your role will be critical in communicating this proven success and the robust capabilities that drive such high customer satisfaction and retention, including 120% net dollar retention and strong enterprise expansion.
  • • You will need to stay abreast of the latest trends in compliance, HR technology, AI, and data security to effectively position Ethena as a thought leader and a superior solution in the market.
  • • This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for technology and its application in solving real-world business challenges. You will be a key contributor to Ethena's mission of making compliance training effective, engaging, and accessible for all organizations.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical acumen and strong communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into business benefits for a diverse audience, from IT professionals to C-suite executives.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar technical pre-sales role, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
  • • Strong understanding of compliance, HR technology, and/or learning management systems (LMS).
  • • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • • Experience with AI-driven solutions and their application in business contexts is a plus.
  • • Ability to conduct technical discovery, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and respond to RFPs/RFIs.
