- • Support pre-sales technical engagements with customers and partners by answering complex technical questions during evaluations, procurement, and integration discussions.
- • Translate customer requirements into clear technical recommendations and tailored solutions based on Swarmer AI’s autonomous drone software and hardware systems.
- • Develop technical materials including proposals, grant applications, customer documentation, and partner communications that accurately represent product capabilities and limitations.
- • Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure accurate communication of technical features, constraints, and use cases to external stakeholders.
- • Assist with hardware setup, integration, and field support for drone systems, including PCB hardware and embedded devices in real-world operational environments.
- • Represent Swarmer AI in customer meetings, industry events, and technical discussions, acting as the primary technical liaison between the company and its clients.
- • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences, including defense personnel, government agencies, and enterprise partners.
- • Contribute to technical documentation and responses for RFPs, SBIRs, and other government or defense procurement processes.
- • Operate effectively in both lab and field environments, with a practical, hands-on mindset to troubleshoot and validate system performance under real-world conditions.
- • Maintain deep technical understanding of embedded systems, firmware/hardware integration, and autonomous drone platforms to provide authoritative guidance during sales cycles.
- • Ensure alignment between customer needs and product roadmap by relaying critical feedback from frontline users to internal engineering teams.
- • Participate in technical interviews and demonstrations to showcase Swarmer AI’s technology in action, leveraging direct operational feedback from users in conflict zones like Ukraine.
- • Maintain strict adherence to operational security protocols and comply with all applicable regulations when handling sensitive defense technology and customer data.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- • 3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or FAE role
- • Strong embedded systems background, including firmware/hardware integration
- • Comfortable working with PCB hardware, embedded devices, and drone systems
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- • Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and concisely
