- • Support pre-sales technical engagements with customers and partners by providing expert technical guidance on Swarmer AI’s autonomous drone systems.
- • Answer complex technical questions during customer evaluations, procurement processes, and system integration discussions.
- • Translate customer requirements into clear, actionable technical solutions and recommendations tailored to operational needs.
- • Develop and maintain technical documentation including proposals, grant applications, customer-facing guides, and partner communications.
- • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to accurately represent product capabilities, limitations, and roadmap priorities.
- • Assist with hardware setup, configuration, and field integration of embedded drone systems in real-world operational environments.
- • Represent Swarmer AI at customer meetings, industry conferences, and technical forums to articulate the value and functionality of autonomous drone technology.
- • Provide hands-on engineering support during pilot deployments and customer trials, ensuring seamless system performance.
- • Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences, including military, government, and enterprise stakeholders.
- • Contribute to technical responses for RFPs, SBIRs, and other government or defense procurement processes.
- • Operate effectively in both lab and field settings, troubleshooting hardware-software integration issues on embedded platforms.
- • Maintain a practical, solutions-oriented mindset focused on delivering real-world operational outcomes under high-stakes conditions.
- • Adapt quickly to evolving customer needs and rapidly changing operational environments, particularly in defense and security contexts.
- • Ensure all customer interactions and technical communications adhere to strict operational security protocols.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- • 3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or field applications engineer (FAE) role
- • Strong embedded systems background, including firmware/hardware integration
- • Comfortable working with PCB hardware, embedded devices, and drone systems
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- • Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and concisely
