- • Pyrotek Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Engineer specializing in Acoustics to drive revenue growth within an assigned territory. This pivotal role involves selling a comprehensive portfolio of Pyrotek's high-quality consumables, advanced equipment, and expert technical services to a diverse clientele in the acoustics industry.
- • As a Sales Engineer, you will be instrumental in cultivating and expanding customer relationships, ensuring that Pyrotek consistently meets and exceeds client expectations. Your primary focus will be on building mutually beneficial partnerships that foster long-term loyalty and drive repeat business.
- • A key responsibility will be the proactive identification of key decision-makers within target accounts, initiating and managing the sales process from initial contact through to closing.
- • You will be adept at negotiating pricing, minimum order quantities, and supply agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both Pyrotek and its customers. This includes effectively communicating any agreed-upon changes internally to align with customer demands and operational capabilities.
- • Providing prompt and effective technical support to customers will be crucial. This involves troubleshooting issues, offering solutions, and collaborating seamlessly with internal technical teams and subject matter experts to resolve complex challenges.
- • You will actively solicit sales of new or additional products, meticulously preparing pricing proposals and presenting compelling quotations that highlight the value and benefits of Pyrotek's offerings.
- • Maintaining a keen awareness of competitor activities within the market is essential. You will develop and implement strategic counter-measures to effectively beat or contain competitor efforts, ensuring Pyrotek maintains a competitive edge.
- • Prospecting for new customers will be a significant part of your role. This involves identifying potential leads, understanding their needs, preparing tailored pricing, and presenting persuasive quotations.
- • You will be responsible for the accurate development and preparation of customer purchase agreements, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly defined before submission to Supply Chain personnel for final review and customer signing.
- • A critical aspect of account management involves regularly reviewing agreement levels against actual performance on a quarterly basis, ensuring customers consistently meet the terms of their agreements and identifying opportunities for upselling or further engagement.
- • You will also assist in resolving customer accounts receivable issues, working collaboratively with finance and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
- • Presenting technical information to both internal teams and external customers, as requested, will be part of your responsibilities, requiring strong communication and presentation skills.
- • A core objective is consistently meeting and exceeding established sales and gross profit targets, contributing directly to the company's financial success.
- • You will actively engage in strategic discussions with management, contributing insights and ideas on sales tactics and market penetration strategies.
- • Providing exceptional sales support to ensure customer expectations are consistently met and exceeded for your assigned accounts and products is paramount.
- • This involves regularly visiting customer facilities to build rapport, conduct product training, and actively sell products and services.
- • You will be responsible for gathering relevant data, drafting and pricing quotes, and preparing comprehensive reports and presentations to support sales efforts.
- • Setting final new product or service prices, margins, and quotations within company pricing guidelines will be a key task, requiring a strong understanding of market dynamics and profitability.
- • Appropriately fielding customer calls, processing orders efficiently, and responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner are daily requirements.
- • Partnering closely with customer service, operations, and supply chain teams is essential to ensure seamless order fulfillment and that customer expectations are met.
- • You will be responsible for fielding and resolving customer complaints concerning billing or products, meticulously documenting all interactions and utilizing the CRM system to initiate Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and customer credits for approval.
- • Researching and addressing all customer problems and requests, including defining the most suitable products as solutions, will be a core function.
- • Establishing and maintaining positive, collaborative working relationships with internal sales engineers, manufacturing operations, applicable vendors, and suppliers is vital for success.
- • You will utilize the Contact Management database (CRM System) to complete trip reporting and internal sales relationship communications in a timely and accurate manner.
- • Ensuring travel expense reporting is accurate and submitted in a timely manner is also a requirement of this role.
