📋 Description
- • As a Sales Engineer (Pre-Sales) at Chromatic Software Inc., you will partner closely with the Sales team to drive the technical success of Enterprise deals, leading the technical evaluation process from first conversation through proof-of-concept to help engineering teams understand how Chromatic and Storybook fit into their workflows and deliver measurable value.
- • You will act as a trusted technical advisor to prospective customers, guiding architecture decisions, solving complex frontend and CI challenges, and demonstrating how modern teams can adopt component-driven development at scale while showcasing the impact of visual regression testing in building reliable UIs.
- • You will work with a high-growth B2B SaaS company that has strong product-market fit and a vibrant developer community, collaborating directly with leading engineering teams at top companies to influence product direction and drive revenue.
- • In this role, you will deepen your technical expertise in frontend engineering and CI/CD, sharpen your ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value, and develop consultative sales skills by solving real-world implementation challenges and shaping technical sales strategy through customer feedback.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years in a pre-sales technical role
- • Experience working at a B2B SaaS company
- • Strong frontend engineering background with experience in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Webpack, Vite)
- • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
- • Ability to quickly understand complex technical environments and propose practical solutions
- • Clear and confident communicator, able to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for engineers, managers, and executives
