- • As a Sales Engineer (Pre-Sales) at Checkly Group Inc., you will empower developers and engineering teams to ensure application performance and reliability from pull request to post-mortem by guiding them through technical evaluations of the Checkly platform.
- • You will become an expert on Checkly’s unified testing, synthetic monitoring, and observability solutions, helping drive the Monitoring as Code revolution while solving real customer problems during pre-sales engagements.
- • You will work closely with high-value prospects, assisting them from initial demo through successful implementation, owning the technical evaluation process and translating customer feedback into product improvements.
- • You will collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to share insights from customer interactions, contribute to technical documentation, and support continuous improvement of processes and policies.
- • During onboarding, you will engage with Customer Support to deeply understand the platform and customer needs, and periodically support support functions as needed.
- • You will operate in a remote-first, async-friendly environment with options to work from the NYC office, aligned with ET or CT time zones, contributing to a transparent, inclusive, and high-impact culture at a Series B DevTools SaaS company trusted by teams at Vercel, LinkedIn, 1Password, CrowdStrike, and Render.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong technical skills to read, write, and debug code, with JavaScript/Node.js preferred.
- • 3–5 years of experience in a Solutions Engineering role, preferably in dev-tools SaaS, with observability, monitoring, or testing background as a plus.
- • Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) to accelerate customer-facing work such as researching prospect environments, generating demo code, and building proof-of-concept repositories.
- • Proven ability to work autonomously and self-motivate in a remote-first setting while maintaining collaboration and team engagement.
- • Exceptional empathy, curiosity, and communication skills in spoken and written English, with a passion for helping customers succeed.
- • Located in the United States and available to work within ET or CT time zones.
