Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the technical heartbeat of every Broadridge Disclosure Solutions sale—be the go-to expert who translates complex SEC EDGAR, XBRL, and regulatory-compliance functionality into clear, compelling business value for CFOs, General Counsel, and corporate secretaries at Fortune 1000 issuers.
- • Architect and deliver live, data-driven product demonstrations that run the gamut from high-level executive overviews to deep-dive technical sessions for accounting and IT teams; you will configure sample filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, DEF 14A, S-1, etc.) on the fly and answer real-time questions about taxonomy updates, inline XBRL, and EDGAR validation rules.
- • Establish a repeatable, best-in-class pre-demo discovery playbook—conduct stakeholder interviews, map pain points to product capabilities, and build customized demo environments that mirror each prospect’s chart of accounts, disclosure history, and regulatory calendar.
- • Drive post-demo momentum by crafting tailored follow-up assets: ROI models, competitive teardowns, security white-papers, and pilot project plans that shorten sales cycles and increase win rates.
- • Partner shoulder-to-shoulder with Account Executives to strategize on deal structure, pricing tiers, and expansion opportunities; you will quarterback technical validation calls, manage security questionnaires, and provide red-line guidance on contractual language related to data feeds, SLA parameters, and custom development work.
- • Influence the product roadmap by distilling front-line feedback into actionable user stories; you will run quarterly voice-of-customer sessions with Sales, Product, and Engineering to prioritize enhancements such as new form templates, AI-driven tagging suggestions, or API integrations with Workiva, SAP, and Oracle.
- • Evangelize Broadridge at 8–10 industry conferences, webinars, and regional roadshows per year—deliver thought-leadership keynotes on emerging SEC rules (climate disclosures, cyber-incident reporting, pay-versus-performance) and host booth demos that generate qualified pipeline.
- • Build and maintain a 3× pipeline of technical proof-of-concept engagements; track every stage in Salesforce, forecast close dates, and ensure seamless hand-offs to Professional Services once deals are signed.
- • Design and deliver quarterly enablement bootcamps for new sales hires—create certification tracks on SEC form anatomy, XBRL best practices, and objection handling so that every rep can speak credibly about disclosure workflows.
- • Collaborate with Marketing to produce high-impact collateral: solution briefs, ROI calculators, video snippets, and interactive demos that live on the website and fuel demand-gen campaigns.
- • Act as the voice of reason during contract negotiations—translate client technical requirements into scoped Statements of Work, validate level-of-effort estimates with Engineering, and ensure margin targets are met.
- • Champion a culture of continuous learning—maintain expert-level knowledge of EDGAR Filer Manual updates, SEC Release 33-11042, and forthcoming Inline XBRL rule changes; share weekly digest emails to keep the field organization ahead of the curve.
