- • Sales Engineer – Unmanned Systems role at Silvus Technologies (a Motorola Solutions subsidiary) focused on providing technical sales support for advanced MANET and MIMO radio systems used in defense, law enforcement, and public safety missions.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering pre- and post-sales technical support, conducting product demonstrations, troubleshooting field equipment, training customers, optimizing system performance, and feeding field feedback into product development.
- • The role operates within a mission-driven team rooted in DARPA research, developing self-healing, self-forming mesh networks that enable secure, high-bandwidth connectivity including video in extreme environments.
- • This position offers the opportunity to grow as a trusted technical advisor, influence product roadmap through real-world insights, and develop expertise in tactical communications systems while working with elite government and public safety clients.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field with 2+ years of pre- and post-sales technical support experience, OR High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of equivalent experience.
- • Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
- • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to involvement in U.S. government contracts.
- • Proficiency with radio frequency instruments (signal generators, spectrum analyzers) and willingness to travel 50-75% for customer site visits, demonstrations, and trade shows.
