- • Join Energy Exemplar as a Sales Executive and become the catalyst that helps utilities, ISOs, developers, traders, and governments transition to a decarbonized world. You will own the full sales cycle—from first conversation to signed contract—across North America, EMEA, and APAC, introducing decision-makers to PLEXOS, Aurora, and Adapt2, the industry’s most trusted simulation and forecasting platforms.
- • Build and manage a robust pipeline of net-new logos and expansion opportunities within existing accounts. You will map complex buying committees, identify economic and technical champions, and craft multi-threaded outreach campaigns that speak to the unique pain points of grid operators, renewable developers, and energy traders.
- • Deliver compelling demonstrations and ROI-driven business cases that quantify how our software reduces dispatch risk, accelerates interconnection queues, and unlocks millions in marginal savings. You will translate intricate power-market dynamics into clear value stories for CFOs, traders, and planning engineers alike.
- • Negotiate enterprise license agreements, SaaS subscriptions, and multi-year support contracts ranging from $50K pilots to multi-million-dollar transformational deals. You will structure pricing, scope professional services, and secure legal approval while protecting margin and accelerating deal velocity.
- • Collaborate daily with Solutions Engineers, Product Management, and Customer Success to ensure every proposal is technically accurate, commercially viable, and aligned with our roadmap. You will feed market intelligence back to the business, influencing feature prioritization and go-to-market strategy.
- • Represent Energy Exemplar at industry conferences such as CERAWeek, EUW, RE+ and APEC, delivering thought-leadership sessions, hosting executive roundtables, and capturing high-intent leads. You will amplify our brand as the definitive authority on energy-market simulation and optimization.
- • Maintain meticulous CRM hygiene in Salesforce, forecasting revenue within 5 % accuracy and providing transparent deal-stage commentary to leadership. You will leverage data to refine territory plans, identify whitespace, and prioritize the highest-impact opportunities.
- • Mentor junior Account Executives and SDRs, sharing battle-tested objection-handling techniques, negotiation frameworks, and industry acumen. You will foster a culture of continuous learning and celebrate collective wins across the global sales organization.
- • Travel up to 30 % for on-site discovery workshops, executive briefings, and contract signings, ensuring face-to-face relationship depth that differentiates Energy Exemplar in a crowded vendor landscape.
- • Thrive in a fully remote, high-trust environment where autonomy, data-driven decisions, and customer obsession are non-negotiable. You will report to the VP of Global Sales but operate as the CEO of your territory, backed by world-class marketing, support, and executive sponsorship.
