  • • Own the full sales cycle for Lightspeed’s marine dealership management platform, from first outreach to signed contract and successful hand-off to Customer Success. You will be the face of Lightspeed to boat, yacht, and marina dealers across North America, guiding them through a consultative discovery process that uncovers pain points in inventory, service, parts, and F&I workflows.
  • • Build and manage a robust pipeline of 150+ qualified opportunities each quarter using Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. You will run disciplined daily prospecting sprints, multi-thread into family-owned dealerships and large multi-location groups alike, and keep every interaction meticulously logged so leadership can forecast revenue within 5 % accuracy.
  • • Deliver tailored product demonstrations that translate technical features into measurable ROI for marine retailers. You will configure sandbox environments that mirror a prospect’s exact boat inventory, service bay capacity, and parts catalog, then quantify time savings, margin lift, and CSI improvements so the CFO can defend the investment to ownership.
  • • Negotiate complex, multi-year SaaS agreements that average $35 K ARR and can scale past $250 K when group-wide rollouts are secured. You will draft redlines, collaborate with Legal on MSAs, and structure ramped pricing that aligns with seasonal cash-flow realities unique to the marine industry.
  • • Partner with Marketing to launch vertical-specific campaigns—think boat-show webinars, winterization checklists, and CSI benchmark reports—that generate 40 % of your pipeline. You will provide voice-of-customer feedback that shapes new e-signature integrations, OEM interfaces, and mobile service apps.
  • • Mentor junior Account Executives and SDRs by sharing call recordings, objection-handling playbooks, and territory-planning templates. You will host weekly “Win Wire” sessions where closed deals are dissected so the entire team can replicate best practices and compress sales cycles.
  • • Travel up to 25 % to key boat shows in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Newport, and Seattle, where you will captain booth demos, moderate customer panels, and host VIP dinners that deepen executive relationships and accelerate expansion conversations.
  • • Report weekly on KPIs including pipe coverage, stage conversion, win/loss drivers, and competitive displacement. You will present findings to the VP of Sales and Product, influencing roadmap priorities such as marina slip-scheduling, OEM warranty claims, and advanced telematics ingestion.
  • • Champion Lightspeed’s culture of transparency by publishing your own comp plan, sharing anonymized peer earnings in all-hands meetings, and coaching prospects on how to evaluate ROI so they can purchase with confidence—even if they ultimately choose a competitor.
  • • Continuously sharpen your craft through self-directed learning: complete Marine Retail Certification courses, shadow service writers on busy Saturdays, and maintain a personal library of industry reports so you can speak the language of hull IDs, Mercruiser engine codes, and NMMA compliance standards.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding $1 M ARR annually
  • • Demonstrated success selling into automotive, powersports, RV, or marine dealerships; deep familiarity with dealership operations (inventory, service, parts, F&I) strongly preferred
  • • Proficiency with Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and other modern sales tech stacks; ability to build multi-touch sequences and forecast accurately
  • • Excellent remote presentation skills: you can run a persuasive Zoom demo to a 10-person buying committee without losing energy or clarity
  • • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; high emotional intelligence and resilience in a fast-moving, transparent comp environment
