- • Lead the Mid-Market Sales Team (101-1,000 FTE market) to drive revenue growth and define go-to-market strategy for Ashby’s talent acquisition platform.
- • Own segment revenue results by identifying key drivers, aligning team efforts on high-impact activities, and collaborating with Marketing on pipeline generation.
- • Coach and develop Account Executives through empathetic, skill-based feedback to help them reach full potential and advance their sales careers.
- • Partner with hiring to build high-caliber, small teams that deliver outsized results in alignment with market demand.
- • Report to the Head of Sales, Americas and contribute to Ashby’s mission of empowering talent leaders with data-centric hiring solutions.
- • Engage directly in deals to establish executive relationships while enabling team success — avoiding siloed or territorial behaviors.
- • Apply an operational mindset to identify bottlenecks, refine sales processes, and partner with Revenue Ops to improve deal velocity.
- • Develop deep product and industry expertise to provide practical, trusted guidance to customers and team members.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience managing a team of Account Executives delivering $7M/year+ in ARR at a growth-stage SaaS company.
- • Demonstrated success in hiring and onboarding sales reps who rapidly become top performers, with a focus on career growth and development.
- • Strong coaching ability — skilled at identifying individual and team skill gaps and delivering empathetic, actionable feedback that drives improvement.
- • Operational expertise in diagnosing sales process bottlenecks and implementing solutions to accelerate deal flow, preferably with Revenue Ops collaboration.
- • Comfortable engaging in complex deals to build executive relationships while empowering, not overriding, the sales team.
- • Track record of selling complex platform applications to Talent, People, or HR leaders (bonus: prior Enterprise AE experience with upmarket deal strategy).
