đź“‹ Description
- • As a Strategic Partnerships, Drive professional at Deliveroo Holdings plc, you will play a pivotal role in scaling one of the company’s most critical growth engines: the Drive fulfillment platform. This role is central to Deliveroo’s mission of enabling restaurants, grocers, and retailers to deliver seamless first-party ecommerce experiences across key markets including the UK, Italy, France, and the UAE. You will be the primary steward of a strategic grocery partner portfolio, responsible for transforming contractual relationships into engines of mutual, long-term growth. Your work directly impacts Deliveroo’s ability to expand its B2B footprint, deepen partner loyalty, and drive sustainable revenue through innovative fulfillment solutions.
- • Day to day, you will define and execute jointly agreed growth plans with your assigned grocery partners, aligning Deliveroo’s capabilities with partner objectives to unlock shared value. You will monitor performance against annual targets, track implementation milestones, control expenditure, and initiate timely, data-informed interventions when performance deviates from plan — ensuring agility and course correction. You will build and nurture multi-functional relationships across partner organizations, positioning Deliveroo as the preferred delivery operator through trust, reliability, and strategic collaboration. You will own the full lifecycle of contract negotiations and renewals, leveraging your commercial acumen to secure terms that balance risk, reward, and long-term partnership sustainability. Additionally, you will foster an inclusive, high-performance team culture within your extended cross-functional squad, driving engagement and accountability. Finally, you will contribute insights and perspectives to Deliveroo’s senior leadership, helping shape the long-term commercial strategy and partner value proposition for the UK grocery segment.
- • You will join the Drive team, a hypergrowth unit within Deliveroo that operates at the intersection of logistics, technology, and retail innovation. Drive is not just a delivery service — it’s a white-label fulfillment platform powering the digital storefronts of some of Europe and the Middle East’s most prominent grocery and retail brands. The team is fast-paced, data-driven, and deeply collaborative, bringing together product, operations, finance, and commercial experts to solve complex B2B challenges at scale. You’ll work alongside passionate individuals who are redefining how grocery shopping happens in the digital age, with a shared commitment to operational excellence and partner-centric innovation.
- • In this role, you will develop advanced expertise in strategic B2B account management, contract negotiation, and cross-functional leadership within a high-growth tech environment. You will gain deep exposure to the evolving dynamics of online grocery retail, last-mile logistics, and platform economics — positioning yourself as a leader in the future of retail fulfillment. You will sharpen your ability to influence without authority, translate complex data into actionable strategy, and drive results through collaboration and clarity of purpose. Success in this role will not only deliver measurable impact for Deliveroo and its partners but also establish you as a trusted strategic advisor capable of navigating complex commercial ecosystems — opening doors to senior leadership opportunities within Deliveroo or across the broader tech and retail landscape.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record of revenue growth in account-facing or B2B partnership roles, with demonstrable success in driving commercial outcomes through strategic account management.
- • Experience defining and implementing B2B partner-focused plans, including the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems and translate strategy into focused, high-impact actions.
- • Strong influencing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt style across stakeholder levels, listen actively, and respond effectively to partner needs while building trust and alignment.
- • Experience managing a complex grocery partner or portfolio of partners, including hands-on involvement in high-value commercial negotiations and contract renewals.
- • Demonstrated ability to work as a team player within multi-functional environments, fostering a win-win, can-do attitude that drives engagement and performance.
- • Growth mindset with a track record of learning quickly, embracing challenges, and seeking opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary and performance-based bonus structure aligned with Deliveroo’s high-growth culture and commitment to rewarding impact.
- • Comprehensive health and wellness package, including private medical insurance, dental coverage, and access to mental health resources and wellness programs.
- • Generous annual leave entitlement plus additional company holidays, supporting work-life balance and personal wellbeing.
- • Opportunities for professional development through internal training, mentorship programs, and access to industry conferences and certifications.
- • Equity participation via Deliveroo’s share scheme, allowing employees to share in the company’s long-term success.
- • Hybrid working model with flexibility to split time between the River Building HQ in London and remote work, supported by modern collaboration tools and inclusive team practices.
