  • • WeTravel, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Sales Operations Lead to join our dynamic team at our Chicago office. This pivotal role is designed for an individual contributor who will serve as a strategic business partner to our Sales leadership, playing a critical role in optimizing sales processes, driving pipeline development, and ensuring forecast accuracy. You will be instrumental in creating a frictionless selling environment by maintaining sales policies, ensuring rep accountability, and proactively suggesting process improvements. This position requires a strong understanding of sales technology stacks and a commitment to data integrity, working closely with systems like HubSpot and Tableau to generate actionable insights.
  • • As the Sales Operations Lead, you will be responsible for supporting not only the Sales Team but also collaborating with other functional areas such as Marketing, Finance, and Product. You will be assigned to work with one or more Sales Leaders, providing essential governance, process management, and enablement support. Your primary focus will be on empowering these leaders to effectively manage their teams in partnership with overall Sales Leadership. This involves building strong relationships, understanding the unique needs of your assigned teams, and consistently analyzing standard and custom reports to identify trends and opportunities.
  • • A core aspect of this role involves ensuring the team's adherence to the defined sales methodology and driving pipeline development and management to achieve reliable forecasts. You will be the go-to person for data integrity and quality, meticulously managing Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, and Leads. This requires close collaboration with the data governance team to ensure sales teams are actively contributing to maintaining accurate information within HubSpot. Your expertise will be crucial in validating all transactions, managing correction processes, and escalating issues as needed.
  • • You will also play a key role in managing lead flow through HubSpot, providing essential guidance on lead follow-up to ensure adherence to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with the Sales Enablement team to provide supplemental onboarding for new and existing sales staff. This includes driving all representatives and leaders through training certification programs and identifying areas where additional support or escalation is required.
  • • On a weekly basis, you will be deeply involved in serving as the strategic business partner to Sales leadership. This encompasses owning leading indicators, ensuring forecasting integrity and metrics, maintaining pipeline health, generating corporate and ad hoc reports, and providing clear visibility into revenue risk across various segments and regions. You will work within the broader Commercial Operations team to drive lead-to-cash optimization by aligning sales processes, CRM utilization, and customer journey stages. The goal is to enhance conversion rates, improve margin visibility, and increase forecast accuracy.
  • • Your role will involve translating complex data into actionable insights for executive-level consumption. This includes delivering clear reports on coverage, productivity, win rates, pricing trends, and capacity planning. You will also be instrumental in identifying and eliminating revenue friction points across tools, workflows, and handoffs, ensuring strong CRM adoption, robust data governance, and scalable operating discipline. Cross-functional partnerships with Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success will be vital to align processes, system utilization, KPIs, attribution, headcount planning, and performance metrics against defined targets.
  • • This position requires a logical thinker with a talent for solving problems by identifying solution options and applying appropriate criteria to develop recommendations. You must demonstrate the ability to prioritize workloads effectively, drive deliverables based on priority, and maintain clear communication throughout the process. A strong desire to create efficiency and opportunity through business process improvement is essential. You should be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, making decisions without having the complete picture, and handling risk and uncertainty with composure. The ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stress effectively is also a key attribute for success in this role.
  • • Technically, you will participate in user acceptance testing for new functionality and leverage your understanding of Solution Architecture, Business Process Analysis & Design, and Planning associated with strategy and program execution. You will utilize CRM platforms to develop creative solutions for business challenges and opportunities, supported by strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of WeTravel's sales organization and contribute to our continued growth.
