📋 Description

  • The Sales Representative, Diversified Therapeutics – Austin, TX role at Viatris Inc. is critical to driving sales and promoting Viatris products to healthcare professionals in the Austin, TX territory, directly supporting the company’s mission to empower people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life by expanding access to high-quality medicines.
  • Day to day, the representative will manage a territory covering Austin, Round Rock, Temple, Killen, Bryan, and College Station, TX; promote Viatris products to OBGYNs, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Pharmacists; develop and execute territory management plans; conduct pre- and post-call planning; leverage assets like Lunch and Learns and displays; gather feedback from healthcare settings; set clear call objectives; ensure high call and field productivity; engage in persuasive, balanced dialogue to influence prescribing behaviors; and respond promptly to customer requests with accurate information.
  • Viatris is a global healthcare company that bridges generics and brands, supplying medicines to approximately 1 billion patients annually and recognized on multiple award lists for its impact; the company fosters an inclusive environment where employees contribute to meaningful healthcare outcomes across the patient lifecycle.
  • In this role, the individual can develop expertise in pharmaceutical sales, refine territory management and customer engagement strategies, strengthen influence and negotiation skills, deepen knowledge of women’s health therapeutics, and grow as a self-starter capable of working independently and collaboratively to achieve sales goals while adhering to ethical and regulatory standards.

🎯 Requirements

  • BS or BA degree required
  • Minimum 0 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, 0-3 years of B2B sales experience
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to travel and live within the geography of responsibility or reasonable driving distance
  • Demonstrated success in influence and negotiation skills
