  • • Drive significant market share growth and expand the skylight category by strategically influencing key trade professionals and facilitating seamless sales through our valued VELUX dealers across the dynamic Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona territory.
  • • Develop, execute, and meticulously coordinate all sales efforts within your assigned territory, ensuring alignment with company objectives and a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
  • • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a diverse range of stakeholders, including Dealers, Builders, Contractors, Remodelers, Roofers, and Architects, fostering strong, collaborative relationships built on expertise and mutual success.
  • • Proactively identify and solicit new sales opportunities and expanded business within your assigned territory through consistent field engagement and strategic outreach.
  • • Craft and implement a comprehensive annual territory plan, meticulously identifying and prioritizing the most impactful opportunities for sales growth and market penetration.
  • • Conduct compelling and professional sales presentations to dealers, builders, contractors, and architects, effectively showcasing the superior value and benefits of VELUX product lines and ensuring they are promoted in a professional, timely, and impactful manner to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • • Act as a knowledgeable resource and trainer, educating dealers, builders, contractors, and architects on the proper application, installation, and unique selling propositions of VELUX product lines, empowering them to confidently recommend and sell our solutions.
  • • Manage and operate within established budgets, demonstrating fiscal responsibility and a commitment to maximizing profitability within your specified territory through efficient resource allocation and cost-effective strategies.
  • • Provide hands-on support and training to contractors, assisting them with their in-home selling efforts to enhance their ability to present and close VELUX solutions with confidence and expertise.
  • • Diligently complete all required reports and analyses in a timely and accurate manner, providing valuable insights into territory performance, market trends, and sales activities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • • Perform essential field service activities as needed within your territory, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any technical or installation-related inquiries with prompt and effective solutions.
  • • Collaborate with and support other sales representatives by traveling to assist with training sessions, conduct field service activities, or participate in local trade shows, fostering a team-oriented environment and sharing best practices.
  • • Maintain a high level of professionalism and a positive, customer-centric attitude in all interactions, embodying the VELUX commitment to excellence and sustainable indoor living.
  • • Continuously stay informed on current industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities, applying this knowledge to identify and pursue new sales avenues and enhance your sales strategies.
  • • Demonstrate exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills, adeptly navigating challenges and finding effective solutions to drive sales success and customer satisfaction.

  • • Be prepared to perform physical tasks including lifting, reaching, stooping, and climbing, with the capability to handle weights in excess of 50 lbs, ensuring the ability to perform essential job functions in various field environments.
