- • Join Autodesk as a Sales Specialist for Construction, a pivotal role focused on driving new business acquisition and managing renewals within the dynamic Canadian market. - • As a key player in our sales organization, you will be instrumental in expanding Autodesk's footprint across Construction, Architecture, Engineering, and Owner accounts. Your primary mission will be to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, while strategically managing existing customer renewals with a keen eye for expansion and up-selling potential.
- • This role demands a proactive and strategic approach to sales, requiring you to develop, maintain, and grow a robust opportunity pipeline. You will leverage sound activity and call planning to ensure consistent week-over-week performance, demonstrating a deep understanding of sales methodologies and the ability to move opportunities efficiently through the sales cycle to a successful closed-won status.
- • A critical aspect of your responsibility will be to deeply understand customer needs, extracting their required capabilities and identifying pathways to achieve positive business outcomes. You will excel at translating complex customer challenges and emerging opportunities into compelling value propositions that highlight Autodesk's unique solutions.
- • You will manage accounts throughout the entire sales lifecycle, from initial prospecting and engagement through contract negotiation and closing. Post-sale, you will coordinate closely with our Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless transition and continued positive customer experience, fostering long-term relationships and driving customer satisfaction.
- • This is an outside field sales position, requiring you to be physically present at customer locations for business development activities, prospecting, and engaging in detailed discussions about specifications. Your expertise will extend through contract negotiations, securing agreements, and providing essential post-sales support.
- • Accurate forecasting is paramount. You will be responsible for delivering precise weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts, providing valuable insights into pipeline health and revenue projections.
- • Collaboration is key to success. You will work in close partnership with our channel partners to amplify new revenue streams and drive expansion within existing customer bases, creating a synergistic approach to market penetration.
- • You will be adept at negotiating deals and contracts across various levels within client organizations, including engaging with executive and "C"-level stakeholders to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
- • Ultimately, you will serve as a Trusted Adviser to your clients, proactively identifying and creating win-win situations that foster strong, enduring partnerships and drive mutual success.
- • This remote position offers the flexibility to work from your Alberta, Canada location, with an expectation of up to 30% travel within your assigned territory to engage directly with clients and partners.
- • You will report to a Sales Manager and collaborate extensively with internal teams, including Inside Sales, Product Specialists, Account Based Marketing, Channel Partners, Business Strategy, and Customer Success Teams, ensuring a cohesive and effective go-to-market strategy.
