- • As a Sales Support Specialist at Vision Service Plan (VSP), you will be a critical player in ensuring the seamless servicing and administration of accounts for our valued clients, partners, brokers, and consultants. Your proactive support will directly contribute to our overarching strategies for customer satisfaction, business growth, and client retention.
- • You will provide essential administrative support for a range of sales activities, from the initial qualification and quoting stages for prospective clients to the meticulous installation of new clients. This includes managing changes to existing client accounts, efficiently processing renewals, and facilitating smooth open enrollment periods.
- • A key aspect of your role will involve nurturing and strengthening relationships with our clients. This is achieved by cultivating robust internal relationships with account managers, sales personnel, and other vital business partners. By understanding their needs and requirements, you will ensure our product and service offerings align perfectly with client expectations.
- • You will actively contribute to the development of client-focused strategies by providing dedicated administrative support for client development plans and various assigned projects. These initiatives are designed to bolster strategic objectives, enhance communication, drive growth, and ensure long-term client retention.
- • Effective communication and coordination are paramount. You will liaise with business partners to clearly define and communicate client requirements and needs. This ensures that accurate information is readily available to support the intricate details of client plan design and, most importantly, that client expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
- • Supporting the implementation and intake of new clients is a core responsibility. You will work diligently to ensure that specified implementation timeframes are not only met but ideally surpassed, providing a positive initial experience for new partners.
- • You will be responsible for verifying that all client administrative requirements are thoroughly met and meticulously documented. Furthermore, you will ensure that all involved business partners understand and agree to these requirements, operating strictly within approved processes and procedures.
- • Maintaining a comprehensive and up-to-date working knowledge of our existing and newly introduced products and services is essential. This knowledge base will enable you to provide accurate and timely information to the sales and account management teams, as well as directly to clients or brokers.
- • You will be adept at identifying potential issues and proactively offering alternative, approved solutions. When necessary, you will escalate complex or custom solution requirements to the appropriate business partner to drive resolution.
- • Collaboration is key to success. You will coordinate effectively with other departments and the broader account team to swiftly resolve client issues, thereby maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
- • A significant part of your role may involve preparing essential collateral and conducting engaging open enrollment presentations. These presentations will be delivered to sales teams, clients, and client members, supporting benefit fairs and other crucial outreach events as needed.
- • You will ensure that all information is set up accurately and completely within our systems. This meticulous data management is vital for maintaining current client, broker, and prospect records, often requiring interface with multiple internal and external business partners to coordinate efforts.
- • This role demands an ability to work within an agile environment, demonstrating a proven capacity to adapt quickly to evolving business needs and priorities.
- • You will leverage the sales automation system effectively to maintain precise and current client and prospect records and data, ensuring the integrity of our sales pipeline information.
- • Your excellent organizational skills will be crucial for setting work priorities and managing a high volume of information and requests originating from multiple sources, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
- • Proficiency in MS Office, including word processing and spreadsheet applications, is required. This includes the ability to build files, write formulas, combine columns, and effectively manage data merging and manipulation.
- • You will act as a trusted point of contact, embodying VSP's commitment to service excellence and contributing to the overall success of the sales and account management functions.
