- • Own day-to-day administration of Salesforce including users, profiles, permissions, roles, page layouts, fields, validation rules, workflows, and automations
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce user support, triaging and resolving incoming requests through a ticket queue with clear prioritization and timely follow-through
- • Build and refine reports and dashboards for forecasting, pipeline health, territory performance, activity tracking, and renewal risk
- • Maintain data integrity and hygiene across accounts, contacts, opportunities, subscriptions, and renewals through regular audits, deduplication, and cleanup routines
- • Document standard processes, field definitions, and workflows to enable user self-service and ensure changes are tracked over time
- • Partner with sales, marketing, finance, and delivery teams to translate business needs into practical Salesforce solutions
- • Support integrations between Salesforce and connected tools such as marketing automation, sales engagement, and billing systems to maintain a unified view of the customer lifecycle
- • Deliver training, office hours, and enablement materials to drive consistent adoption and good habits across the field
- • Identify gaps, friction, and inefficiencies in the Salesforce platform and proactively recommend improvements
- • Work on ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as applicable
- • Operate in a fast-paced commercial environment with a focus on clean, reliable, and trusted data
- • Communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders to translate business questions into reports and workflows that deliver actionable insights
- • Balance system governance with usability by building guardrails without slowing business operations
- • Maintain a strong commitment to data quality, process rigor, and operational accountability
- • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across commercial teams to ensure Salesforce supports business objectives
- • Support subscription or renewal-based revenue models through accurate tracking and reporting
- • Contribute to a culture of clarity, substance, and follow-through within a team focused on the utility industry
- • Work remotely with infrequent travel (0–2 times per year) and core collaboration hours aligned with Eastern and Central time zones
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience (Sales Cloud)
- • Demonstrated experience managing a ticket queue and resolving day-to-day platform issues
- • Proven ability to build and maintain reports, dashboards, workflows, validation rules, and automations
- • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and process rigor
- • Comfortable operating cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and delivery stakeholders
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
