- • Engage customer stakeholders to understand data-related business outcomes, reporting needs, and define measurable success criteria for data quality, completeness, and accessibility in Salesforce environments
- • Articulate the value of data-driven Salesforce solutions including data governance, migration strategies, and analytics capabilities to drive business impact
- • Lead discovery and data assessment sessions to inventory legacy systems, identify data sources, assess data quality issues, and determine transformation requirements
- • Analyze, profile, and map source data to Salesforce standard and custom objects, identifying relationships, dependencies, and data integrity constraints
- • Define detailed data mapping, transformation logic, and reconciliation plans between legacy systems and Salesforce target data models
- • Perform fit-gap analysis between existing data structures and Salesforce architecture to recommend optimal data model design
- • Define and document comprehensive data migration strategies including cleansing, deduplication, enrichment, and validation processes
- • Develop and maintain data migration artifacts such as data dictionaries, mapping documents, conversion plans, and reconciliation reports
- • Collaborate with technical teams to execute data migrations using Salesforce tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, Workbench) and ETL/ELT platforms (e.g., Informatica, MuleSoft, Talend, SSIS)
- • Design and validate test scenarios for data migration across unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases
- • Monitor and resolve data migration issues to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business rules and data standards
- • Support the development of reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions to enable business insights and performance tracking within Salesforce
- • Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders in Agile or Hybrid-Agile environments to iteratively refine data requirements and deliverables
- • Develop and implement data governance frameworks including data stewardship roles, data quality standards, and ongoing maintenance processes
- • Deliver training and documentation to enable end users to effectively manage and utilize migrated data within Salesforce
- • Work with Guidehouse Project Managers to ensure data migration activities align with project scope, budget, and timeline expectations
- • Leverage AI-enabled tools and accelerators to automate data profiling, mapping, cleansing, validation, and enhance data quality insights
- • Ensure all data migration and governance activities comply with contractual and organizational requirements
🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS degree
- • Minimum of five (5) years of work experience with a strong focus on data analysis and migration projects
- • US Citizenship is contractually required
- • Minimum of one (1) current Salesforce Certification (Admin, App Builder, or relevant Cloud certification)
- • Hands-on experience with Salesforce data management tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, Workbench)
- • Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, MuleSoft, Talend, SSIS) and integration patterns
