• • As a Salesforce Developer at Menlo Security Inc., you will be a pivotal architect and builder within our Business Technology team, directly contributing to the success of our Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy and Operations. Your role is crucial in translating complex business needs into robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will be instrumental in supporting and enhancing our critical Sales, Customer Success, and Finance operations, ensuring the platform's stability, performance, and security as Menlo Security continues its rapid growth and global expansion.
• • In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for a wide array of development and engineering tasks. This includes designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom programmatic solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL. A key aspect of your work will be adhering strictly to Salesforce best practices and governor limits to ensure optimal performance and scalability. You will also be tasked with building and maintaining high-performance integrations between Salesforce and various external business applications such as ERP, CPQ, Marketing Automation, and Gainsight, leveraging REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools to create a seamless data flow across our business systems. Furthermore, you will utilize a combination of declarative tools like Flow and Process Builder, alongside programmatic solutions, to automate and streamline business processes throughout the entire customer lifecycle, from lead generation to post-sale support.
• • Your responsibilities extend to owning the entire development lifecycle. This involves conducting thorough code reviews to maintain code quality, writing comprehensive unit tests to achieve at least 90% Apex Code Coverage, and managing release cycles effectively. You will also be instrumental in enforcing source control best practices using Git and implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies to ensure efficient and reliable deployments. As a subject matter expert on Salesforce technical capabilities, platform limitations, and security best practices, you will provide essential guidance to Salesforce Administrators, Business Analysts, and cross-functional leadership, helping them understand the possibilities and constraints of the platform. A critical part of your role will be diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks across the Salesforce platform and its connected systems, ensuring the continuous operation and reliability of our critical business tools.
• • The overarching goal of this position is to ensure the Salesforce platform functions as a stable, secure, and high-performing engine that drives Menlo Security’s Go-to-Market success. You will be responsible for delivering scalable solutions that support our growth without any unplanned downtime. Key deliverables include maintaining an average Apex Code Coverage of 90%+ for all custom code, achieving a low Change Failure Rate (CFR), and consistently meeting the Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR) Service Level Agreement (SLA) for critical production issues. You will also be expected to successfully deliver all assigned Salesforce development user stories and projects on time and within budget, as measured by Sprint/Project Completion Rate, and ensure that all new integrations or major feature rollouts meet established performance benchmarks, such as latency and throughput, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and operational efficiency.
