📋 Description

• The role involves taking ownership of sanctions and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) investigations using the latest transaction monitoring (TM) and know-your-transaction (KYT) tools to detect, analyze, and mitigate illicit financial activities on the platform.

• Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting in-depth investigations of suspicious transactions, analyzing blockchain data, collaborating with compliance and legal teams, and producing detailed reports to support regulatory and law enforcement requests.
• The investigator will work within a dynamic, mission-driven team focused on protecting users and upholding the highest standards of anti-money laundering (AML) and sanctions compliance in the fast-evolving crypto industry.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in sanctions, anti-money laundering (AML), or counter-terrorist financing (CTF) investigations, preferably within financial institutions, fintech, or cryptocurrency environments.
• Strong proficiency with transaction monitoring (TM) and know-your-transaction (KYT) tools, including the ability to interpret alerts, trace fund flows, and identify suspicious patterns.
• In-depth knowledge of global sanctions lists (e.g., OFAC, UN, EU, UK) and familiarity with blockchain analytics techniques to trace illicit crypto transactions.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and actionable documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining strict confidentiality and attention to detail.
