- • The SAP ABAP / Fiori Developer will play a critical role in supporting a Fortune 500 global energy company’s strategic initiative to migrate historical Plant Maintenance data into SAP S/4HANA through a governed, auditable web application integrated with SAP CPI. This 4-month engagement requires technical ownership of backend services, middleware, and user-facing interfaces to ensure seamless data migration and system integration.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include building an OData V2 service, developing an ABAP RFC wrapper around BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE, and creating a Fiori Elements/UI5 surface. The developer will also define DDIC structures, CDS views, and authorization objects, integrate with SAP CPI iFlows, manage transports across DEV/QAS/PRD landscapes with the BASIS team, and perform unit/integration testing, bug fixing, and performance tuning.
- • The role is part of a small, senior Agile-Scrum team working fully remotely with a client in the energy sector. 🎯 Requirements
- • ABAP OO with 5+ years of professional experience
- • Experience building OData V2 services
- • Knowledge of SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) module
- • Proficiency in SAPUI5 / Fiori Elements development
- • Experience with SAP Gateway Service Builder (SEGW) or RAP (S/4HANA)
- • Familiarity with transport management (SE09/SE10, abapGit)
- • Professional, client-facing English communication skills
