- • The SAP Data Services Developer will design, develop, and optimize enterprise data integration, data quality, and data migration solutions across the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) landscape, supporting mission-critical SAP S/4HANA operations for the Department of Defense.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows, designing source-to-target mappings, developing data transformation logic, implementing data profiling routines, integrating diverse data sources (including SAP HANA, flat files, APIs, and cloud platforms), and monitoring and troubleshooting job performance to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- • The role is part of CACI International Inc.’s Federal division, which supports federal agencies with technology solutions; the team manages planning, procurement, fulfillment, financials, application development, and technical operations—including security, GRC, and identity & access management—within the JTMS environment serving USTRANSCOM transportation and logistics operations.
- • The developer will gain deep expertise in aligning SAP Data Services capabilities with DoD transportation doctrine, regulatory requirements (DTR, DoD FMR), and Clean Core principles while contributing to complex integrations across DoD and commercial transportation ecosystems, advancing both technical mastery and mission impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in data integration/warehousing with at least 5+ years in SAP Data Services (BODS) development.
- • Expert-level proficiency in SAP Data Services Designer, Management Console, and Data Quality tools, including complex transformations, data flows, and batch job design.
- • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data models, table structures, extractors, RFCs, and business processes across FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, and HR modules.
- • Advanced SQL development skills with experience in performance tuning, pushdown optimization, and database optimization techniques.
- • Proven experience integrating SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP MDG, and SAP Information Steward.
- • Familiarity with SQL scripting, Shell scripting (Unix/Linux), and ABAP for automation; ability to adhere to development standards and conduct code reviews.
