📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end SAP PP solution for global discrete-manufacturing clients, guiding them from initial vision workshops through go-live and hyper-care. You will translate complex shop-floor realities into elegant, scalable SAP S/4HANA processes that cut lead times, reduce inventory and unlock real-time visibility.
• • Lead Fit-Gap and design-thinking workshops on-site or remotely, interviewing production planners, shop supervisors, supply-chain controllers and C-level sponsors to surface pain points in forecasting, MRP, capacity planning, Kanban, repetitive manufacturing and batch optimization.
• • Model and prototype discrete-manufacturing scenarios such as make-to-order, make-to-stock, variant configuration, assembly-to-order and engineer-to-order. You will configure demand management, long-term planning, production orders, repetitive manufacturing, KANBAN, capacity leveling and shop-floor integration (ME, MII, PCo, DMC) to create seamless digital threads from customer forecast to final delivery.
• • Architect integration touchpoints with MM, SD, QM, WM/EWM, TM and IBP so that production plans automatically propagate across procurement, logistics and financial closing cycles. You will map data flows, write functional specs for ABAP/RAP developers and validate interfaces with middleware teams.
• • Drive test cycles: author master test scripts, coordinate business users in integration and user-acceptance testing, triage defects and sign off only when KPIs (OTD, WIP turns, schedule adherence) beat baseline by agreed margins.
• • Deliver executive-level advisory content—board-ready slide decks, ROI models and benchmark studies—showing how Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, digital twin, predictive MRP, AI-based sequencing) can be layered onto SAP to create the next-generation smart factory.
• • Champion continuous improvement post go-live: set up real-time dashboards in SAC or Fiori, run Kaizen events and mentor super-users so that the client’s internal team can sustain and extend the solution without external help.
• • Contribute to Nagarro’s SAP practice growth by creating reusable accelerators (template processes, configuration cookbooks, test libraries), publishing thought-leadership blogs and speaking at SAP Insider, ASUG or DSAG events.
• • Coach a distributed team of junior PP consultants and business analysts; provide code reviews for custom enhancements, share best-practice snippets and conduct lunch-and-learn sessions on S/4HANA innovations such as MRP Live, Fiori apps for production operators and embedded PP-DS.
• • Stay ahead of the curve: evaluate each new SAP release, explore cloud extensions like SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud, and run internal proof-of-concepts so that every client benefits from the latest capabilities before competitors even hear about them.
