📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end technical blueprint for S/4HANA conversions in the upper-midmarket manufacturing segment, translating complex legacy landscapes into clean, scalable S/4HANA architectures that unlock real-time analytics, simplified processes, and future-ready innovation.
• Act as the single point of architectural truth during the full project lifecycle—from initial discovery workshops and fit-gap analysis through blueprinting, realization, data-migration cut-over, hyper-care, and post-go-live optimization—ensuring every configuration, custom object, and integration point aligns with the customer’s strategic KPIs.
• Orchestrate sub-project streams inside Nagarro’s Conversion Factory framework: coordinate functional, technical, data, infrastructure, and change-management workstreams; define sprint goals, quality gates, and release backlogs; and keep steering-committee stakeholders continuously informed with transparent dashboards and risk-mitigation roadmaps.
• Serve as the trusted bridge between the customer’s IT leadership (CIO, enterprise architects, plant IT managers) and Nagarro’s global delivery squads: clarify business requirements, negotiate scope trade-offs, secure sign-offs on critical design decisions, and translate technical constraints into business impact narratives that resonate in the boardroom.
• Co-create and continuously refine the Conversion Factory delivery engine: contribute reusable migration templates, automated testing accelerators, Fiori UX design patterns, and DevOps pipelines that compress project timelines by up to 30 % while elevating quality benchmarks for the entire practice.
• Lead presales pursuits alongside account executives: scope greenfield and brownfield conversions, craft tailored solution visions, build compelling business cases (ROI, TCO, payback), and deliver board-level presentations that convert prospects into long-term transformation partners.
• Champion a data-driven, manufacturing-centric mindset: leverage deep knowledge of production planning, MES integration, variant configuration, batch management, and shop-floor IoT to ensure the new S/4HANA core supports Industry 4.0 initiatives such as predictive maintenance, digital twins, and automated replenishment.
• Embed security, compliance, and sustainability by design: align architectures with ISO 27001, GDPR, and sector-specific regulations (e.g., TISAX for automotive suppliers), while incorporating green-IT principles such as HANA in-memory compression and reduced batch-processing energy footprints.
• Mentor and upskill cross-functional teams: run architecture clinics, code-review sessions, and brown-bag knowledge shares that elevate junior consultants into certified S/4HANA experts and strengthen Nagarro’s reputation as the go-to conversion partner in the DACH manufacturing market.
• Continuously scan the horizon for emerging SAP technologies—RISE with SAP, BTP extensions, Datasphere analytics, AI/ML services—and proactively pilot lighthouse scenarios that keep customers ahead of their competition and position Nagarro as an innovation thought leader.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 3 full-cycle S/4HANA conversions (greenfield or brownfield) in the manufacturing sector; proven ownership of technical architecture deliverables from digital discovery to go-live.
• Expert-level command of SAP S/4HANA core modules (PP, MM, SD, WM, EWM, QM) and integration technologies (OData, RFC, IDoc, CPI, BTP); hands-on configuration and extensibility know-how via CDS views, Fiori, RAP, and ABAP RESTful programming.
• Demonstrated project- or sub-project-management track record: ability to plan 6–12-month conversion roadmaps, manage distributed teams of 15–30 consultants, and steer agile ceremonies (SAFe or Scrum) while maintaining strict SAP Activate phase gates.
• Strong stakeholder-communication skills in German and English (C1 minimum); comfortable presenting to C-suite, facilitating workshops, and negotiating scope with procurement and plant managers.
• Nice-to-have: SAP S/4HANA certification (e.g., P_EA_1, C_TS4FI, C_TS4CO), experience with RISE with SAP, familiarity with TISAX or ISO 27001 audits, and prior presales or proposal-writing success.
