• In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between complex scientific workflows and cutting-edge AI technologies. You will be instrumental in understanding the intricate needs of our scientific clients, translating these requirements into actionable insights for our product and engineering teams, and ensuring our solutions effectively address the challenges of modern scientific research.
• Your primary responsibility will be to deeply understand the scientific domain, including laboratory operations, experimental processes, data generation, and analysis across various scientific disciplines such as drug discovery, biotechnology, and materials science. This involves engaging with scientists, researchers, and lab managers to gather detailed requirements and identify pain points.
• You will meticulously document scientific workflows, data models, and user stories, ensuring clarity and precision. This documentation will serve as the foundation for developing robust and user-friendly scientific data management platforms and AI tools.
• A significant part of your role will involve analyzing existing scientific data management practices and identifying opportunities for improvement through the application of AI and advanced data strategies. You will assess the current state of data capture, storage, retrieval, and utilization within research environments.
• You will collaborate closely with product managers to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure that our offerings align with market needs and scientific advancements. Your input will be crucial in shaping the strategic direction of our product development.
• You will work hand-in-hand with our AI and engineering teams, translating business and scientific requirements into technical specifications. This includes defining data schemas, API requirements, and integration points for our scientific data platform.
• You will play a vital role in the validation and testing of new features and products, ensuring they meet the defined scientific requirements and deliver tangible value to our users. This may involve designing test cases and participating in user acceptance testing.
• You will contribute to the development of training materials and user guides, empowering our clients to effectively leverage the TetraScience platform and its AI capabilities.
• You will stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in scientific research, laboratory informatics, and artificial intelligence, bringing this knowledge to bear on product strategy and development.
• You will act as a subject matter expert, providing insights and guidance on scientific data challenges and AI solutions to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• This role requires a blend of scientific acumen, analytical rigor, and strong communication skills. You will be expected to present findings, recommendations, and product updates to diverse audiences, from bench scientists to executive leadership.
• You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our business analysis processes, methodologies, and tools, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our product development lifecycle.

• You will help to build a comprehensive understanding of the scientific data ecosystem, including instruments, software, and data formats commonly used in research environments.
• You will be a crucial link in ensuring that the data managed by TetraScience is FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable), which is essential for effective AI implementation.
• You will contribute to the development of business cases for new product features and initiatives, quantifying the potential impact and return on investment.
• You will work with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, customer success, and R&D, to ensure a cohesive and successful product strategy.
• You will help to define metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and adoption of our scientific data management solutions.
• You will be involved in understanding the regulatory and compliance requirements that may impact scientific data management in certain industries.
• You will help to identify and define requirements for advanced analytics and reporting capabilities within the TetraScience platform.
• You will contribute to fostering a data-driven culture within TetraScience and among our clients.
• You will be a key contributor to ensuring that TetraScience remains at the cutting edge of scientific data management and AI.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role, with a strong focus on scientific or life sciences domains.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear business and technical requirements.
• Strong understanding of scientific research methodologies, laboratory workflows, and data types across various scientific fields.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data modeling, process mapping, and requirements documentation.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in scientific research is a plus.
• Experience working with data management systems, LIMS, ELN, or scientific software platforms is highly desirable.
