  • • Design and execute translational research studies to elucidate mechanism of action, resistance pathways, and potential new indications for oncology therapeutics.
  • • Develop scientific hypotheses by integrating insights from preclinical data, clinical trial results, and peer-reviewed scientific literature.
  • • Manage and oversee translational research and biomarker studies conducted by external CROs and academic collaborators to ensure timely, high-quality data delivery.
  • • Conduct biomarker analysis to support clinical development programs, including identification and validation of predictive or pharmacodynamic biomarkers.
  • • Maintain meticulous, organized laboratory and study logs to ensure data accuracy, reproducibility, and full compliance with regulatory standards.
  • • Present translational research findings and biomarker insights in internal team meetings and cross-functional program team discussions.
  • • Apply strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret complex biological and clinical datasets.
  • • Demonstrate scientific curiosity by proposing novel research directions that directly inform drug development decisions.
  • • Exercise strong project management skills to coordinate timelines, deliverables, and resources across internal teams and external vendors.
  • • Adapt to a fast-paced, evolving research environment with shifting priorities and emerging data.
  • • Ensure all research activities adhere to the highest ethical and compliance standards as required by regulatory and operational guidelines.
  • • Communicate scientific findings clearly and effectively through written reports and oral presentations to diverse scientific and clinical stakeholders.
  • • Operate independently with high initiative in a remote work environment while maintaining alignment with team objectives.
  • • Travel domestically and internationally as required for on-site meetings, collaborations, or site visits related to translational research programs.
  • • Utilize personal computer systems for extended periods to analyze data, prepare reports, and manage study documentation.

🎯 Requirements

  • • PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular & Cellular Biology, Cancer Biology, or Immunology
  • • 1–3 years of postdoctoral or industry research experience
  • • Familiarity with oncology research
  • • Experience in DNA damage response (DDR) biology or related pathways is highly preferred

  • • Base salary range of $116,200.00 – $145,300.00
  • • Merit-based salary increases
