📋 Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and complete bid packages for U.S.-based civil site construction projects, including excavation, earthwork, grading, underground utilities, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, paving, and full site development.
• Perform precise quantity takeoffs for underground utilities, stormwater management systems, water lines, and bulk earthwork (cut/fill) using industry-standard methods and specifications.
• Support the full bid lifecycle from initial bid preparation through revisions, vendor and subcontractor outreach, final submission, and preconstruction coordination.
• Maintain organized, accurate, and auditable estimating documentation across multiple concurrent bids to ensure compliance and traceability.
• Collaborate with estimating leadership to improve bid throughput, reduce turnaround times, and enhance overall estimating efficiency.
• Work within established estimating workflows while proactively identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
• Utilize Bid2Win (B2W) / Trimble estimating software to generate estimates, manage takeoffs, and produce bid packages in alignment with company standards.
• Independently manage estimating tasks for complex civil projects across commercial, municipal, and public sectors in the U.S.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of U.S. civil construction standards, including site development practices, utility installation, and stormwater system design.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal English to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors during the bidding process.
• Work full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM US Eastern Time, in a fully remote capacity with no on-site requirements.
• Handle high-volume estimating demands with precision under tight deadlines, maintaining quality across multiple active bids simultaneously.
• Apply experience from both public and private sector construction projects to inform accurate cost modeling and risk assessment.
• Contribute to preconstruction planning by providing cost insights that support project feasibility and scope alignment.
• Ensure all estimates reflect current material, labor, and equipment pricing trends relevant to U.S. civil construction markets.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of estimating experience in civil site construction
• Hands-on experience using Bid2Win (B2W) / Trimble estimating software
• Advanced written and verbal English communication skills
• Experience estimating U.S.-based construction projects
• Strong knowledge of underground utilities, stormwater systems, water line installation, earthwork, and grading
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, full-time role
