- • As a Scrum Master at Group 1001 Holdings LLC, you will play a pivotal role in driving agile excellence across engineering teams supporting the Onyx annuity platform—a mission-critical, modern technology system launched in 2020 that streamlines operations and enhances customer experience for a family of insurance companies. Your leadership will ensure that development sprints are executed with precision, alignment, and continuous improvement, directly contributing to the delivery of reliable, scalable software that meets business objectives and customer needs in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- • You will facilitate daily stand-ups, iteration planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to maintain team rhythm and transparency; manage engineering development projects and sprint releases from planning to execution; create and analyze business requirements documents and project timelines to align technical work with business goals; guide the team in effective time estimation practices using story points and velocity metrics; drive iteration execution by communicating progress to stakeholders and shielding the team from uncontrolled work injection; proactively identify and eliminate impediments to maintain flow and productivity; work with team leads to resolve interpersonal conflicts and project roadblocks; conduct post-mortems and root cause analyses to foster continuous improvement; lead improvement initiatives by defining and implementing improvement stories that increase team velocity and quality; implement and uphold agile principles, Scrum frameworks, and Kanban practices; maintain accurate team data in Jira to support forecasting, tracking, and reporting; and design and facilitate release management processes, including communication, notes, and scheduling to ensure smooth, predictable deployments.

🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- • Minimum 5 years of project management experience and 4 years leading sprints in an agile environment
- • Demonstrable expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and other agile frameworks, with strong proficiency in Jira including global administration
- • Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills with the ability to bridge business and technology perspectives
