📋 Description

• Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for a UK-based healthcare and pharmacy client’s Data Science & Analytics delivery squads.
• Maintain and update sprint boards, dashboards, RAID logs, dependency trackers, and delivery status reports using Jira and Azure DevOps to ensure transparency and predictability in delivery.
• Coach engineering and cross-functional teams on Agile principles including sprint goal setting, accurate estimation, clear story definition, acceptance criteria, Definition of Ready, and Definition of Done.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, Engineering Leads, Business Analysts, and Test Leads to ensure work is prioritized, well-defined, and ready for execution.
• Identify, track, and escalate blockers, risks, dependencies, and key decisions through appropriate delivery forums to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption to sprint progress.
• Support PI planning, Scrum of Scrums, and ART alignment activities to enable coordination across distributed teams operating in an enterprise Agile environment.
• Improve backlog hygiene, story quality, estimation discipline, and sprint predictability by enforcing consistent Agile practices and follow-through on retrospective action items.
• Deliver clear, evidence-based, and reliable delivery reporting to stakeholders, ensuring alignment on progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Work independently with strong facilitation skills to drive team ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement in a high-stakes healthcare and pharmacy domain.
• Operate within a distributed team structure, coordinating effectively with onshore and offshore members while maintaining alignment with UK-based stakeholders and working hours.
• Ensure all Agile artifacts and processes are consistently applied to enhance delivery transparency, reduce waste, and improve team velocity.
• Adapt Agile practices to fit enterprise governance requirements while preserving team autonomy and delivery momentum.
• Act as a liaison between technical delivery teams and non-technical stakeholders to translate progress, challenges, and needs accurately and effectively.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and proposing actionable solutions grounded in Agile and Scrum best practices.
• Maintain strict adherence to delivery timelines and quality standards in a regulated healthcare and pharmacy environment with high compliance expectations.
• Support the integration of Data Science & Analytics deliverables into broader product roadmaps through structured planning and cross-team alignment.
• Ensure all team activities are documented, traceable, and aligned with enterprise reporting standards for audit and governance purposes.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile delivery role, ideally within large-scale or enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Jira including sprint boards, dashboards, work item tracking, and sprint reporting
• Proven experience working with distributed teams, including onshore/offshore models
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum delivery frameworks and practices
• Experience improving backlog hygiene, story readiness, acceptance criteria, and sprint discipline
• Ability to provide clear, evidence-based status reporting to stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management skills and comfort working with UK-based stakeholders and overlapping UK working hours
