- • As a Scrum Master for our Salesforce Federal Delivery team, you will be the linchpin in orchestrating successful Agile sprints and driving the delivery of cutting-edge Salesforce solutions for federal agencies. This is a unique opportunity to operate in a remote-first capacity within the US, with the expectation of occasional in-person engagements for client meetings, Salesforce office visits, and team collaboration at our Thunder offices in Tysons Corner, VA. This role is contingent upon a successful bid award, offering a chance to be at the forefront of a significant federal initiative.
- • You are not just a facilitator; you are a proactive problem-solver and a strategic leader who thrives in complex federal environments. Your primary mission will be to champion Agile methodologies, ensuring seamless sprint execution and maximizing team velocity while maintaining the highest standards of architectural integrity and compliance.
- • You will play a pivotal role in shaping our federal delivery posture, leveraging your expertise to implement and refine Agile processes. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams, federal stakeholders, and leveraging the latest cloud technologies to support mission-critical customer needs. Your impact will be directly felt in the successful delivery of Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud environments, contributing significantly to our brand's reputation and effectiveness within the federal sector.
- • **Key Responsibilities include:**
- • **Sprint Facilitation and Agile Ceremony Leadership:** Design, implement, and lead all Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. These ceremonies will be meticulously tailored to meet the stringent requirements and unique challenges of federal Salesforce implementations, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations.
- • **Delivery Momentum and Blockage Resolution:** Actively manage and oversee the entire end-to-end delivery lifecycle of Salesforce CRM solutions. This includes proactively identifying and removing impediments that could hinder progress, ensuring that solutions are not only delivered on time but also remain audit-ready and compliant with all relevant federal regulations.
- • **Agile Governance and Stakeholder Coordination:** Drive the adoption and adherence to Agile principles and practices across the project. This involves close coordination with internal development teams, consulting staff, and federal agency stakeholders to navigate complex delivery assessments, manage scope, and ensure smooth progression through critical milestones, such as Authority to Operate (ATO) processes.
- • **Performance Monitoring and Reporting:** Implement and manage advanced tracking and reporting tools to meticulously measure team velocity, throughput, and overall project momentum. This includes monitoring performance across both Salesforce and AWS environments, providing clear, actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders.
- • **Agile Mentorship and Coaching:** Serve as a trusted advisor and mentor, providing expert Agile guidance, best practices, and coaching to development teams, consulting staff, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
- • **Platform Expertise Integration:** Maintain and apply deep, expert knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud capabilities. Ensure that sprint goals and development efforts are consistently aligned with Salesforce platform best practices, maximizing the value and functionality delivered to federal clients.
- • **Risk Management and Compliance:** Ensure that all Agile delivery processes are integrated with federal compliance frameworks, particularly the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), and contribute to the successful navigation of the federal ATO process. This requires a keen understanding of security requirements and audit readiness.
- • **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Foster strong collaborative relationships with product owners, development teams, QA, security, and federal client representatives to ensure clear communication, shared understanding, and alignment on project objectives and priorities.
- • **Continuous Improvement:** Champion a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives, identifying lessons learned, and implementing actionable changes to enhance team performance, process efficiency, and overall delivery quality.
- • **Strategic Alignment:** Work closely with leadership to ensure that the technical delivery velocity and outcomes of Agile sprints are strategically aligned with the overarching business objectives and mission-critical needs of federal agencies.
