  • • Artera Technologies is at the forefront of revolutionizing healthcare communication through cutting-edge AI-powered virtual agents. Our mission is to elevate the patient experience by providing seamless, intelligent solutions that enhance access, streamline administrative tasks, and improve overall patient engagement. We are a leading SaaS provider in the digital health space, trusted by over 1,000 provider organizations, including large health systems, specialty groups, FQHCs, and federal agencies. Our technology engages 100 million patients annually, facilitating over 2 billion communications in 109 languages across voice, text, and web platforms. With a decade of deep healthcare expertise powering our AI, we are transforming how patients interact with their healthcare providers, from self-scheduling appointments and managing intake forms to handling billing inquiries and more.
  • • As a Technical Project Lead (TPL) at Artera, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful integration of our advanced virtual agent solutions into our clients' existing healthcare ecosystems. This is a critical role that bridges the gap between our sophisticated technology and the practical needs of healthcare organizations, demanding a blend of technical acumen, project management prowess, and exceptional client-facing skills. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients during the implementation phase, guiding them through the entire lifecycle of integrating Artera's platform.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass the end-to-end technical implementation of Artera's AI-powered virtual agents. This includes understanding client-specific workflows and technical environments, designing integration strategies, configuring our platform to meet unique requirements, and overseeing the testing and deployment processes. You will be expected to provide expert recommendations on best practices for integration and utilization of our technology, ensuring that clients derive maximum value from our solutions.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves close collaboration with our internal Engineering and Product teams, as well as external client IT departments and operational staff. You will work hand-in-hand with Integration Engineers to translate client needs into robust technical solutions, ensuring that all integrations are technically sound and align with client expectations. Your insights from real-world implementations will be invaluable in identifying areas for improvement in our products and processes, contributing directly to Artera's continuous innovation.
  • • The TPL will lead technical discussions with clients, clearly articulating the capabilities of Artera's platform and addressing any technical concerns or challenges that may arise. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex integration issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing effective solutions to ensure a smooth and efficient deployment. This requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a deep understanding of both Artera's technology stack and common healthcare IT infrastructures.
  • • Beyond technical execution, you will play a key role in client education and enablement. This involves training client teams on how to effectively manage and leverage the Artera platform post-implementation, ensuring they are equipped to maximize the benefits of our AI-driven communication tools. Building strong, trust-based relationships with clients is paramount, as you will be a key advocate for their success.
  • • Artera is a rapidly growing, award-winning company recognized for its innovation and culture. We have been consistently named to lists such as the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies, Deloitte Technology Fast 500, and Built In Best Companies to Work For. We are also recognized by Forbes, Newsweek, and Business Insider for our impact and potential. Joining Artera means becoming part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of digital health and making a tangible difference in patient care. This role offers the opportunity to work with a passionate team, tackle challenging technical problems, and contribute to a mission-driven organization that is making healthcare more accessible and efficient for millions.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving successful project outcomes in a fast-paced, client-centric environment. You will be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively, and ensuring that all deliverables are met on time and to the highest standard. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders will be crucial for your success in this role.
  • • This position is based in Santa Barbara, California, and requires individuals who are currently authorized and can provide proof of full-time, long-term authorization to work in the United States. Artera is unable to provide visa sponsorship or support visa transfers at this time.
